They way it was worded it was if he wasn't considered in the 2. I'm just double checking.

He's not going anywhere if Kingsbury stays

No. The number was the total wanted at the position regardless if we had 1 committed or not. I originally posted it as it was in the AUC podcast. Only mention of TQ was he was ok with AU taking another QB. For future reference targets almost always means uncommitted players only.

Aight I figured that is what targets meant. I just thought you were saying that we wanted 2 out of that group.

I know and said the same a page or 2 back. I just listed him because AUC had him as a top AU target for now in the podcast.

Drew Richmond's Top:

Alabama: - "The relationship I have with the offensive line coach, Coach Cristobal helped a lot. We have a great relationship and the winning tradition is also a factor."

Auburn: "I'm going to visit there on March 29 and get a closer look but I feel like I fit well into their offensive scheme. That's one of the biggest things that is standing out to me. I think I'd do well in the spread offense."

Tennessee: Visiting April 3-5. Close to a lot of their commits. Family situation and the playing time is appealing.

Ole Miss: Feels like family there. Great relationship with coaches and players. I know a lot of people outside of the football.

Hopefully we're just keeping in touch in case that happens. Because that's a waste of time elsewise

Stidham isn't going to Auburn, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he ultimately doesn't end up at Texas Tech. I realize he likes Kingsbury a lot, but that guy has been pretty wonky to date as a HC, and you're still talking about the ~#4 school in the state...in Lubbock nonetheless. I think Tech is going to have to show a lot this year to keep Stidham.

Last year was his first year as a HC and he did great. 8-5 with a bowl win all while starting a walk on qb.

He's had like 2 QB's transfer out and has alienated a lot of top HS coaches in Texas apparently. Like I said, he's been a bit wonky and it is still Texas Tech...hard for me to imagine one of the top QBs in the nation (who isn't even from Texas originally) committing early to them and his recruitment being over. I think you'll see a lot of schools aggressively recruiting him still.

Looks like Devaroe Lawrence is on track academically to enroll.

Serious note, how do you fail juco classes? I took online juco classes to transfer in one summer and I am pretty sure if I submitted a blank page I still would get a 70+ grade in the class

Not every Juco is like that plus AU does not accept D's for core classes to tranfer in as long as the overall is a 2.0 or better like some colleges do. Every core class must be a C or better for AU to count it. (See 5* DT Hooks from last year who had to go to Ole Miss for this exact reason.)

Then they are going to the wrong JuCos To get straight Cs just means showing up and completing work (even at AU) for the most part. I just don't get how some guys waste away opportunities

Some players aren't very smart to start with and get free passes through HS. That's alot to overcome jumping into college. Plus the NCAA probably looks harder at the players that go to Juco just to get their grades up to play D1.

But I don't even see why the NCAA cares about their grades or even makes them take classes if they don't want a degree. I am sure more times than not they never finish college or even put their degrees to use anyways.
