If we're taking another one of these little dudes this year, I'm still a supporter -- maybe the only supporter here -- of Traveon Samuel. Way undervalued, I think.

I don't think we get him either, but we're recruiting him as a slot/ATH, not RB
Right but we already have Jason Smith committed who will fill that role.

Maybe but he's not high on the staff's board per AUC.

Good. I already committed you to that on AUC anyway.

Just seems like a lot of the kids we have been offering have been at or around 200 lbs. Hopefully that means the coaches are confident that they will have the time needed to grow and add the weight, without being greatly needed.

I think we're at the point that we don't need anyone to come in and contribute right away. It's rare than anyone at LB is able to come in and make an impact before their second year in the program, and at that point, they've been able to put on 15-20+ lbs, not to mention these kids still have a whole year of high school left. So, you're looking at 2-3 or more years before most of them will have any impact in college.

I know you're joking but it's rare to find many 4* Centers. They don't seem to rate that position very high on the recruiting sites for some reason.

The reason is 3 sites do their rankings heavily based on pro draft ability. Most centers are not drafted or drafted high so the recruit sites given them a lower grad as a whole.

tOSU legacy. Besides that we like NWilson better, right? And though I haven't read anything lately on this guy, we were recruiting the Quarvez Boulware as a center. Not flipping DW so not even going to mention him.

I don't think I would take Warmack over Wilson anyway. He can already play everywhere across the line. Plays with an attitude and is a 4* so as far as a C, you need to get on board GC. Boulware recruited for interior, Keith has said don't look for us to take OL by position per se, unless it's a OT and still need to play both sides.

ETA: While he has played OT at times due to injuries to others, he will only play interior in college.

He came up against a beast. I think he knows he played bad second half.

Agreed, Dismukes is still a beast though and the anchor of our line
