Rumor is we may steal safety Tim Irvin from Texas tomorrow at the Army game. He was a Florida lock until Muschamp was fired, and seemed to be headed for Texas until we ramped up his recruitment the last few days. He still may commit to Texas, but we made up a lot of ground.

2. Atkinson and Sulivan were Star commits. No word yet on what Boom plans to do with them or Darrell Williams or McBryde in terms as to what position or who he plans to keep.

Just watched the Cowart interview. That man is playing coy. He damn well knows he has AU planned for a visit on Jan. 16th.

Keith confirmed we are making a strong push. Also I just read the original tweets. The biggest thing I got from them is the Texas reporter called T-Rob former UF DB coach and current AU DB coach. If we get T-Rob I could see Irvin on flip watch even if he picks Texas tomorrow.

We are on a very short time table though. Irvin is an EE and if not already in classes at school he would have to make a final decision and be in class no later than the last day to add classes in a semester to still be an EE. At AU that is about 2 weeks into the semester.

If our LBs filled the hole like Irvin I don't know if we lose a game this year.

I don't want Irvin unless he can play corner. It seems we have enough "tweeners"

We need as many 'football players' as we can find... guy could play special teams right away, especially as an EE.

He'd be one small corner... Quick as hell though.

Irvin isn't a tweener. He is a safety. I'm fine with a 5ft 9 safety. Height isn't that important there unless you're in man on a tight end. Even then, good coaching and ball skills can overcome that. Earl Thomas is 5ft9

The dude is a freaking missle absolutely destroying people in the hole. Only one on our team that does that now is Cass and occassionally Thereize.

Ahmad Black rings another bell here, as well.
