Going to visit the grandparents for thanksgiving in AZ. I'll bring some early Christmas presents for him. I'll have bags set up near Sanford if you want to contribute

Yeah I forgot that part. I get the Kirks mixed up because they always give updates on them at the same time

Agreed.

I am also pulling for UF to have the hangover of all hangovers, and lose to Vandy.

So 247 says chances are low of Burt flipping this weekend.

Burt and his family already made plans to sit down and talk things out next week after the AU visit. His parents don't live together. Daddy is in ATL. Momma is in Tallanasty and John lives with his mom. She will try to come up tomorrow. It appears right now John and daddy favor AU while mama likes Texas. FWIW Keith feels there is a 75% chance Burt flips. He just does no expect it this weekend.

Here is the FWIW of all FWIWs. I don't believe it personally but still interesting to share.

Mike Farrell posted in The Bunker today that he was told from a "legit source" that AU currently leads for Daron Payne because of the likelihood of playing earlier at AU.

Now balance that with this. DP has only been to 1 AU game while planning to be at his 3rd Bama game this season later for the Iron Bowl. Also DP has said repeatedly he has the best relationship with the Bama staff and they have recruited him the hardest.

I hope Farrell is right but it sure doesn't look like it to me.

Hmm...that's interesting. I would love to get Payne but I don't see it.

I have heard from someone who follows Bama recruiting closely that Payne ends up at AU too.

It's weird because everything does not point that way

They might not have room for him by the time he wants to commit. They are at 21 or 22 now and have several big targets still on the board, not sure what kind of room they have.

the bad thing is that he is built for a 3-4 base and would need to redshirt a year to get in the shape we would need (or want) him at to play in our 4-2-5 base.

all that said, we need young tackles something fierce. I really don't want to see us taking Swain as a JUCO d tackle but the longer this goes, the more young d tackles drop off our board and the more we need him.

Ivey's OV is over LINK

He's done .... he gave the trip a "10"

Says basically that AU and UF are still even.

Communicated some with Chandler Cox during the visit. Told him he was having a great time.

Got a lot of time with Gus Malzahn. Was really impressed by him.
Also he went from a 247 jacket to start the game to an AU Jacket to end the game FWIW.

Five-star receiver Tyron Johnson of New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton said Sunday on Twitter he will officially visit Auburn.

However, Johnson said the visit would be next weekend. The Tigers are out of town, playing Georgia on the road.

He's likely getting his dates mixed up. The Tigers are at home vs. Samford the following weekend.

Johnson is the No. 2 receiver and No. 21 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.

He visited Auburn earlier this year, but AuburnUndercover reported last week his communication with the Tigers has picked up of late.
