Every one of our top wr targets have moved on from us and we are currently more than likely no better than 3rd for our current top guys Christian Kirk and Kirk Merrit
TE - Jalen Harris (done)We missed on some badass TE's this class. Some say Harris is soft others like his athleticism.
Hback - Chandler Cox (done) Beast
Oline - Marquell Harrell, Kaleb Kim, Tyler Carr, Bailey Shar - Solid class so far we're going after Martez Ivey hard. It's between UF and AU some believe his hearts with UF, but his best frand is AU committ Chandler Cox. We would also take Kendrick Norton, but we're probably 3rd at best on his list.
DT - Jauntavius Johnson - We would like at least 2 more to get on board. Maurice Swain could commit anytime and we're flirting with Jonathan Taylor who was kicked off UGA for beating up his ol lady. We're still after big timers like Daron Payne and Trent Thompson but things aren't looking good (and never were)
DE - None - Just like DT and WR we missed on every top target. We appear to be all in for Dandre Walker, but it's going to be hard to get him from UGA. WIth that said he likes our depth chart so there's a real chance with him. There's some JUCO guys like Jonathan Colvin and Marquavius Lewis we're still recruiting but they appear firm to their respective schools.
LB - Richard McBryde, Darrell Williams - Staff feels good about these two guys...So much so that they said 5* LB Jeff Holland would be a "luxary" at this point. Unless UF implodes (which could happen) I think we finish with the two guys we have (unless Williams flips to bama)
CB - Chris Westry, Tony Bridges - We're done here if we can hang on to Tony Bridges, but Ole Miss is coming at Bridges hard. Westry is a project (big time project) and Bridges is a flip canidate so I'm not sure why the staff is going hard after other guys.
Star - Elijah Sullivan, Montavius Atkison - We're done here as well with 2 solid guys. Atkison keeps taking visits, but claims to be solid just like Sullivan.
Safety - Jordan Colbert - (Done) I don't think we add anyone else since Trigga Tray will be eligable next year.

Semantics at this point, but I think we may actually be looking at Sullivan at Safety and less of Star. Obviously that depends on what happens when he gets on campus, but he very well may end up at safety.

We all know that if you're a DB at Auburn, you'll be converted to STAR no matter what.

I'm just not sure what the problem is. We have the best offensive coach in the country. Played for a natty last year, and we are missing on players.

We're not missing on anymore big targets than usual. There just seems to be no backup plan for some of these guys.

We won't have near as many "misses" in 2016. There are multiple reasons why, but we were late getting started with the Elite 2015 kids. 2016 kids are also more likely to have been influenced by our BCSNCG appearance. I still believe we will get at least one big name 2015 DL. That's just my gut though.

TE doesn't really have a role in our offense so we should expect to miss out on big name TEs going forward.

Pos: We have one 5* and 10 likely soon to 12 4* commits
Neg: Only 2 of the 4*s or better are highly rated. The rest are really low rated 4*s
Pos: We are taking only 1 QB bwcause the staff feels Queen is awesome.
Neg: concerned about Queen's arm since his injury in the Spring. Also he's white so he's gotta be slow. Everybody knows White men can't jump or run the read option.
Pos: Great RB class
Neg: one RB will flip to Bama like always
Pos: Jalen Harris is a good pick up because he got commitable offers from Bama and LSU at camps this Summer
Neg: Jalen Harris-Do not want
Pos: excited about what Jason Smith and McGriff can do at WR
Neg: McGriff may grow out of WR so wr need a polished physical WR in the class
Pos: Good O Line class
Neg: No Ivey yet.
Pos: Coach Garner always has something up his sleeve
Neg: We only have 1 DL commit and are out of it for most of the major DL prospects.
Pos. We have 2 good LB commits
Neg: We need more than 2 and Williams will flip to Bama
Pos: Tony Bridges could start from day 1 next year
Neg: Tony Bridges will flip to Ole Miss

There was some talk about McGriff after he visited bama last weekend and he told AUC that he's "rock solid" to AU and deleted his bama related tweets from the weekend.
