If Cox can get him to stay for multiple days that will help alot. But I don't think we will really know much about the recruits UF is in on until we see how they do this season. I hope WM does just enough to keep his job but not enough to impress anyone.

That would be best case scenario. I would like to see UF back on top in the East where they should be, but a homerun hire usually has a big impact on recruiting.

He's going to maul some poor linemen throughout his career. He was a HUGE signing day pickup

It's been slow around here. I figured it was good for 2-3 pages of discussion

He probably accidentally stepped in a 2 to 3" hole as they were measuring his height.

Braden was one of the best and most impactful out of the blue commits we've picked up in the seven or so years that I've been closely following recruiting. Didn't even know the guy's name until a good ways into the cycle.

I think it remains to be seen how impactful he will be.

It definitely impacted the perception of our recruiting class last year. Obviously he hasn't had a chance to impact the team on the field, but he certainly capped our class last year nicely.

Dead board. A couple a three things to revive it till they start throwing at the Elite 11 (reports are trickling out now) and drilling at the Opening.

Take heart, people! Media Days are just around the corner, only a week-ish away ... and then it's Fall Camp ... and then it's... Woo-hoo!!! There should be lots real things to talk about real soon, thank god.

1. Deondre Francois still has a top 3 of FSU, AU, and Oregon. But Notre Dame has made a move and DF likes them enough to put them up there in his top group. They seem to have the least intimidating depth chart and are the only one of the four to not have a QB commit in the class. That is not inconsequential despite what these kids say about competion yada yada.

If he hasn't committed by the end of the month, ND might be the reason.

2. Torrance Gibson is competing at the Elite 11 (haven't heard good or bad on him yet) but will compete at the Opening as an athlete. He might just be showing all sides of his game while he's out there but if he's cool with "athlete" status, is there a better #2 QB out there?

3. Shea Patterson has a top 5: Arizona (committed), Notre Dame, Clemson, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma State. He obviously wants to throw the football in college. Maybe once Nick sets all the records we all expect his to set this year this kid will warm up to us.

BONUS: Jordon Colbert said he's 100% AU. Or so he tweeted to the chick at AUR.

Ryan Bartow says, "Deandre Francois, Torrance Gibson and Blake Barnett all spot on with accuracy on one hitch throws so far. All showing velocity as well. These drills are all 5-step drops under center so far."

He said he's determined to show everybody that he really is a for real legit QB. Good to hear on DF, not so much on BB.

Then there was this:

Barton S 14532 posts 99 minutes ago via Mobile
As the routes get a little deeper Torrance Gibson struggles. Just doesn't spin the ball consistently.

Brian Stumpf tweeted,

Good news -- for bammer.

Been reading about Gibson out there and he's looking worse and worse as the drills pick up and get more complicated with longer throws.

Also read that AU is barely recruiting him anymore. We're all in for Francois with Lamar Jackson as a back up plan

I wouldn't mind having Jackson if we miss on Francois...his highlights of him running the read option are very Marshall-esque
