With carr getting on board, Williams sees the spots filling up... This is his best opportunity to play high level and stay instate.

Was coming to ask about him. Al.com has him as a center but it seems like we have several guys lined up at that spot.
Are we projecting some players to different positions once they're actually on campus?

I would be shocked if he did not pick Auburn and I am not worried at all that he would flip. The statement about wanting an Alabama offer does not mean he would pick them.. He may have wanted the offer to tell Nick to Jump in the Lake.

"He's like a coach out on the field for us," Edwards told AL.com back in April. "Some of his teammates on the offensive line call him 'Coach Darryl' because he knows what we're doing so well. He has an extreme knowledge of the game in terms of not only what he's supposed to do but the rest of the entire offensive line. I'd put him in the top five percent of all the kids I have coached in terms of his football intelligence. He's a student of the game who really desires to be great."

I havent followed closely but don't we have a player in the current class (not Carr) that projects as a Center? Also, is there no one currently on Campus who will compete with Dampeer for the center slot? If I'm wrong I apologize.

"He's ready to make a decision," Edwards said. "The schools that want him have offered him. The schools that haven't offered him yet obviously don't want him."

I liked this statement

Not really. Right now, it's Reese and Dampeer. Others could play center if needed, but that's not their position.

As for current recruits, Harrell and Kim will be guards, Sharp a tackle, and Carr will be a guard or tackle. Brandon Kennedy and Williams are our two center targets

And if '66 is when you graduated AU, you're probably senior in more ways than one.
