Agreed, that's bad news. He's well respected.

Ron Saunders said some big news was coming over the next few weeks...so that may be something in regards to his replacement.

I wouldn't mind if AUC hired Jay Tate. Matthews was basically just doing stories for AUC and Tate is a better writer, imo.

Don't know why Tate would leave rivals. He owns the AU site and it seemingly is doing well according to user statistics. He would get a demotion leaving for AUC

Didn't realize he was the owner. He's gotten much better with his writing and does some really good stuff so I hope AUC can do something similar.
