If that were true we all wouldn't have been so excited about Duke Williams.

You won't need to care if Sammie and Duke go pro. We will get our share. Jason Smith is going to be a stud.

Ok to explain what is going on to those who don't know.

Ellitor said we need to pass more to impress WR recruits. I said we shouldn't change our gameplan at all for the purpose of attracting recruits. We do what we need to do to win.

So to sum up, would I like high profile WR recruits? Yes. Do I think we should pass more just to get more high profile WR recruits? No. Should we pass more this year? Yes because we have more weapons in the pass game.

This was also the major part of why I want to pass more FWIW.

Screw that. We should run more next season. It was a beautiful thing to watch the other team know what we are going to do, but not be able to stop it.

Just got back from meeting Malzahn in Dothan and this is what he said when asked if we would be as run heavy as last year:

"If they can't stop it then there is a chance we might be."

He told me how tall he is but told me to say 6'1 to keep the truth hidden.

He also talked about Corey Grant running the 4.14 the other day and said that they had 3 watches on it and all three were 4.14-4.18 range.

You and your family stay safe last night in Dothan, man? Weather got crazy around 2ish AM with the sirens going off for that tornado in Cottonwood. I was staying over by Westgate.

Not recruiting related but ESPN Insider Computer based projections have Auburn at 8-4 with less than 5% chance of going 11-1 or 12-0

quote:

3. Auburn Tigers
Projected finish: 8-4 (5-3)
Chance to win SEC: 4 percent
Chance to finish 11-1 or 12-0: 4 percent
The projection model is designed to accurately project the fortunes of the majority of teams, and Auburn was one of its biggest misses last year. Its five-year trendline certainly didn't forecast a run to the national championship game in 2013. The Tigers' performance prospects are more favorable in this year's projection (No. 8 overall in the FEI ratings), but the schedule holds them back. Cross-division games against South Carolina and Georgia and a road trip to Alabama present the most difficult draw of any SEC West team. There are seven games on the Auburn schedule that fall into toss-up territory. If Auburn can recapture the magic of last season, those toss-ups will be victories for sure. However, a solid but not spectacular season is more likely.

We were not in the top 15 which is all they rank right now. They had not updated their rankings since just after Kerryon committed before today.
