Williams is Auburn’s fifth commitment in the 2014 class joining Casher, 4-star linebacker De’Shaun Davis from Vigor in Mobile, Ala., 3-star running back Kamryn Pettway from Prattville (Ala.) High and 3-star tight end Chris Laye from Lambert in Suwanee, Ga.
Auburn assistant coach Dameyune Craig is the lead recruiter for Williams along with Casher, Davis and Pettway. Another Craig recruit, 4-star defensive end Justin Thornton from Vigor in Mobile, Ala., will announce a decision between Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M Sunday.
Williams will play in the Under Armour All-American game in January. He is rated the nation’s No. 3 inside linebacker and No. 39 overall prospect in the 247Composite.

Something may be up with Roc Thomas... JC just projected him to AU as well, putting us 60/40 over Bama in the predictions.

That would be amazing. Williams and Thomas are the two recruits I really want. Half way there, huge momentum going into BCW.

JC Shurburtt, National Recruiting Director for 247, must be hearing some good things regarding Auburn. Not only has he predicted Roc to Auburn, but now he's changed his prediction for Top 150 DE Dante Sawyer from Bama to Auburn. Strange, considering Sawyer said a week ago his top 2 were Bama and UGA, and he wanted to commit in the next 2 weeks
