I don't think we built the class around JJ either. All I am saying is I bet Gus goes hard after a highly rated QB. The focus of the class may be elsewhere when it comes to numbers but every year with Gus as OC he has gone after a QB
Anyone else think Murphy might be our first commit this weekend? Already committed to Gus when once when he was at Arky St and has visited a few times. Would be a solid pull and could help strengthen our position with Hamilton

Calm down negatiger he is a 4 star athlete that is receiving attention from lots of SEC schools. Gus jumped on him early while at Arky State and that should really help us bring him in. Will probably be replacing JJ as starting QB at Carver

He very well might not be. But look at his high school film. Look at him playing in high school. Look at the way he moved, and threw, and ran. Look at his comebacks. Look at his offer sheet. This guy was a TAKE. This guy, just about any school would have taken this guy. The culture under Chizik, and Chizik himself, did him no favors.

I'm ready for a QB that isn't scared shiftless and has fire in his belly.
Marshall may/may not be the man for the job, but I like his attitude. He plans to take home all the hardware like Cam did.
