Nothing against the kid, but our defense is going to continue to suck if this is the skill level of players we are going for.
You are saying a top 200 player in the country skill level isn't worth taking?

Hope we get him if he's good. That's all I'll say.

Evans and Williams are our top two at this point but I like this kid and wouldn't be opposed t taking him if we miss on the others.

Evans may project well into the Star position. Or at least in his interviews he says the coaching staff tells him that

I'd imagine if we don't get guys like Ronnie Clark, we may pull in another LB and let Evans play Star

Hey, who are the guys we would accept an offer from right now? Filled in what I assume are pretty darn close to sure bets from what the news says. Didn't want to take chances with other positions

QB-Jacob Park
RB-Roc Thomas/Nick Chubb
WR-D'haquille Williams
TE-Jakell Mitchell?
OL-Kendall Baker

DE-Justin Thorton
DT-
LB-Tre Williams, Rashaan Evans
Star-Ronnie Clark
S-Nicholas Ruffin
CB- Stephen Roberts (if he flips)

I edited him in there but I thought no one would take him right now because his grades make him hard pressed to even get accepted into JUCO

Look, I am not saying we should start recruiting only 2 & 3 stars, just sick of hearing about how a guy in fricking April of his JR year doesn't have offers yet.

Personally, I like it that coaches are getting on kids earlier in the process and making their own determinations. IMO, that was part of the problem with the last staff. A lot of these highly rated kids go with who has recruited them the longest.

Yeah, most of the guys I've seen talk about leading for him don't even care because he has almost no shot of making it into school.

Had no clue. This is the first I heard of that with Thorton.

I remember returning for my senior year and girls that were once cute and thin, came back 2" inches taller and 30-40 lbs heavier. It was a sad thing to see. We went from 20-30 hot seniors down to 15-20. Frick I hate HGH. Mindy became Mike LB in three months of summer.

An older friend of mine told me while I was in high school to be nice to the fat ugly betty's because most would be hot sometime down the road. He was right. I got a Facebook friend request a couple days ago from a betty in high school and that bitch is smoking now!
