BM on Ronnie Clark
quote:

He had a good visit to Auburn this morning and enjoyed getting to watch practice. He said the team and the defense looks better than last year. Clark said he's mostly looking at Auburn, Alabama and Vanderbilt right now but expects final decision to come down to the Tigers or Tide. He plans to announce later this summer or early fall, before the start of his senior season.

Clark will visit Alabama tomorrow.

I'd love to lure him away from LSU. He's a big bodied receiver.

Trickett may visit Auburn. The interest alone indicates to me neither QB has stepped up the way the coaches would like.

Awesome, wish Clark stayed in Auburn for Aday. Guess he's a bama lean for sure.

He would be able to play this year correct? He visited WVU today. If nothing else it would give us a Trotter style qb for depth. I'm not totally against it.

Yes. I just want the most efficient passer. The run game will take care of itself.

FWIW Trickett Freshman highlights

I wish someone would give Kiehl that Any Given Sunday speech

I don't know about him but it would wake my arse up if I was not being the leader I was supposed to be.

I definitely think that we made a big move with recruits who were on campus today

I know there was an 'expected' list, but is there an updated one of those that actually showed?

I think Roc Thomas and Demarcus Bingham were the only surprise guys.

Would like to hear what Chubb had to say about A Day game

No. Delvin Purifoy, a 4* ILB committed to FSU was also a surprise visitor today.

Just think how much better it would be if we started having A Day on a different Saturday than Bama's so more big time prospects would come.

Im interested to hear the thoughts of recruits? Not following recruiting that closely right now, are there any guys in particular that could've been swayed Auburn's way? Any committments expected?

What difference does if make. We need to worry about Auburn, which we did, we set the date that best fit us without worrying about that school up the road. A spirit that is not afraid.
