Shaun Dion Hamilton was at practice today in Auburn, and it was his final visit before he announces on April 17th.

Hmm. I'll wait until something concrete comes out before making a comment.
With him signed with Bama nothing concrete would come out even if it were true.

Has anyone in Auburn, or currently attending Auburn High School, heard of the recent Reuben Foster news?

I know that is not true.

There was a fight the other day. Had nothing to do with Foster. My friend that works at AHS told me about it because he had to break it up.

I honestly doubt Foster sees the field for Bama this year. He'll probably end up transferring. I don't think he's a bad kid, but not getting a lot of pt isn't going to sit well with his personality.

From what I know, he better be JUCO bound or the entire system is a joke.

Free from Bryan Matthews on D'haquille Williams
quote:

I wouldn't say Auburn leads. If LSU makes him a priority, he would likely go there. But Auburn is doing a great job recruiting him and I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at Auburn in the end. He is Auburn's top WR target.

Also Tre Williams visited Auburn for the second straight Saturday and had a great time.

His recruitment is very open right now and he isn't close to a decision. We have a long way to go until we are close to seeing a commitment from him. Going to be an interesting recruitment. He has serious interest in some schools out of state too

He came with a friend from Mobile, Tyler French. Sophomore TE. Here is his HUDL page

I feel like we are going to split SDH and Williams with Bama.

Shaun Hamilton also stopped by the athletic complex JHoke is reporting.

Vincent Jackson and Isaiah Wynn update from Das Boonker

quote:

Both said today's visit at Auburn matched Alabama's evenly. Jackson made it clear that the two schools set themselves apart from the other programs with this trip and both would be in high consideration until the end. Wynn has had his eye on Auburn for the last couple months and said the visit with Malzahn helped boost his interest even more. Update coming soon.

Stephen Roberts is the real thing. Definitely not one we can let slip out of our backyard.

don't underestimate Saban's ability to recruit an in-state cornerback. They've got the top corner in this month's draft and have a couple other high draft picks of late.

Which is exactly why we have to make sure we get him. Hopefully with some increased production from our secondary this year (hopefully being the key word) we can start to put ourselves back on a level playing field with instate DB recruits.
