According to LSU fans, they never gave him the cold shoulder. He decommitted from LSU because of an incident that he witnessed down there. Somebody got shot or something. That incident has made him weary of going there.

There was a threat made on his life and he was told it'd be best to never set foot in La.

This doesn't make any sense and has not been verified. Also, I believe the alleged incident happened before he ever committed to LSU, which makes it make even less sense.
I don't know why DQ flipped from LSU to AU, but I am almost certain this internet story is not the reason. Unfortunately, it probably means he flips back.

Well his cousin was shot and killed. Fact. There was a threat. Believed. There was a specific note naming DQ. Rumor at best. If Coach Craig keeps this kid?

I'd rather have Rudolph for 3-4 years than DQ for 1. Rudolph is a top tier WR
