I think the reason Hoke feels good is because Bama isn't 100% committed to SDH.

Well they have to be 100% committed to him with him signing the financial papers.

I hear what your saying but would suggest we withhold judgement until we see him after his redshirt year. He probably had some bad weight to drop, and increasing speed/ agility is a big part of what they do. Also, EJs linebackers are run stoppers first and foremost, and will let the star and four DBs man up on the perimeter. Toney may end up more like Swain when it's all said and done... Playing the run situations.

Some of the actions that our coaches have taken in the past tell me they will body slam SDH if he looks to be playing them. I think these coaches will do what is right for the team and the recruiting class.

Guys like Dee Liner were screwing with us and we knew it. A guy like SDH clearly has interest and I know for a fact that he is neutral/positive about AU when he visits. Doesn't recruit for Bama. At least not at the beginning of the season and I assume it holds up

Then there are guys that are not positive about AU and are clearly for the other team (CJ Hampton for instance) but we give them tickets because it is good for recruiting and reputation. Not trying to make us look like fools but just clearly higher on other teams and potentially down on AU

Guys like Dee Liner that we know are stringing us along and are trying to make us look like idiots on the other hand get cut loose and rightly so

That is what I was thinking. Signing financial papers pretty much commits Bama to him, but it does not mean SDH can't change his mind iirc.

You just proved my argument bro. I was merely responding to your we need to be nice to all recruits. I get all the other recruits who get tickets regardless of their interest.

eta: Just to remind you what I was responding to.

Treating a kid well, even a clearcut bama commit who (SDH doesn't but just saying) may talk trash about you is worth giving tickets to just to be classy. You screw him over and the coaches feel that way, future kids from the HS will be steered away

It sucks but you got to be nice to everyone even the dildo harnesses

No you don't and the coaches have proven they will send them packing.

True but SDH will likely leave on his own if they land Kwon

I get the feeling that Alabama isn't necessarily upset if they land SDH but they aren't going to keep pushing hard for him either.

^This is conjecture and is based only on what I read on the intrawebz

This could happen...crazier things have. I think Garner pops a late X-Mas gift on us NSD as well.

Everything has been silent on his front.. I don't know if anyone knows for sure that he'll be in town this weekend.

He seems like one that would Like interviews IYAM. His being silent is odd. I imagine coaches have spoke with him. Like E said, this may come down to enrollment day or later.

DW

"So yeah look, this is how I'm gonna roll. I will be decommitting from the AU and taking my skills to the LSU! No disrespect to Auburn I just feel at home in Baton Rouge. I feel like I fit in their offense better and will be utilized more. STTDB!"

Just picked this up on the news wires...Frick him

Guys like CJ Hampton were audibly displeased with Auburn and pro Ole Miss during his visit yet we wanted him to come back. It is the guys who frick with our staffs that get sent packing. Being Pro "Team X" and not positive about Auburn doesn't get you rejected at the gate as long as you are relatively respectful of the situation

He did not go and per Hoke it's a great sign for Auburn. He should be at the Iron Bowl. He says DQ not visiting proves DQ is trusting Coach Craig. Of course take all take all that FWIW.

DQ is already gone IMO. Never thought we had a shot anyway. He commited with us because LSU was giving him cold shoulder. Same goes for Roc.
