Exactly, thank you for posting that KK. I don't have your street cred around here. I think Saban may have crapped in his mess kit with the way he has handled the in-state kids lately!
there will always be coaches and cities in the state of AL that will blindly lead kids to Bama, but the lack of in-state preference/attention will bite them a little as AU begins to come back as a top tier program.

I haven't paid a ton of attention this year but is it just me or are we taking a lot of CC and JUCO guys?

Yep. With this massive JR class we're going to need experienced players coming in behind them.

I would imagine we will take a handful of JUCOs this class and next

We are. I think we can afford to with a heavy 2015 high school class emphasis.
I just looked at the 2015 rankings for the first time and shite we are already in for it on a lot of the top guys.
Edit: Any updated news on Shaw? Would've thought he'd visit for the UGA game if interested. Medical issue or something? Ole Miss still a player? Looking at his size, a spring on his own and a S&C, he would be in the rotation NEXT YEAR.

What is the status on Roc?
I heard he was hurt. Is there a good feeling that we will keep him?

If we hold on to who we have and pick up Evans, I'll be happy regardless.

I love me some Tre Williams

My head will explode if we lose Roc. There is absolutely no reason that a RB of his caliber should go to Bama over Auburn. That is not even being a homer.

Some interesting tweets regarding Bama:

Not happening, especially with Mason leaving so soon. Roc knows he'll shine under Malzahn and will tote the rock early and often.

I may just be behind, but how do we know Mason is leaving? I hadn't heard anything about him being projected very high or anything, but I haven't necessarily been paying attention to the draft yet. Does anyone know when in the draft he's projected to go?

That is what I am thinking. After this year it is clearly obvious that Auburn is the best place to be for a star RB to shine.

Either this year or next year is soon IMO. Carrying the bulk of the load as a Soph. isn't too shabby.
Back to Mason, I don't know if sticking around until next year would be wise considering how deep RB will be in next year's draft. Even with another year, his measurables won't change very much, just his mileage.

Kiper seems to think Mason and Dismukes will be at Auburn next year.

In the SEC alone, eligible RB's to enter the draft will be Gurley, Hill, Davis and Yeldon. Lots of good Soph RB's out there this year. I definitely hope he comes back, but I'm not really sure that waiting another year would do anything for his draft status.

Isn't Hill gone this year? I thought he was a RS SO
