How in the hell can none of them fit a 5 star OL into their recruiting class?

Bring this guy to AU, we have a physical OL that he could fit right into

More on Sharpe

-He would like to play basketball in college
-Early PT is a factor for him
-KN says he feels we are not too late here
-To answer CB's ? Auburn did not offer because they though other OLs on the board were easier gets
-Source close to his dad says if Auburn makes them think he can play early then we can get him.

might as well not sign him, either Barbee will kick him out or he'll transfer

Well, hopefully he's either really gullible or not very bright

I wonder how much the style of offense we are running right now is going to hurt us with picking up Wide Outs the next few classes. Throwing the ball 9 times per game can inspire great wide outs to come here

I guess you can't have it both ways. Getting those backs vs wide outs probably fit our offense better but it would be nice to throw it around a little more to get these guys in here.

I know Johnson is more of a passer so Gus may be selling the pass to them once JJ gets in the saddle.

Just a little rambling.

Something tells me he'll be sold on the idea of GRob going pro early.

And that he can compete for the job right away. They'll use Young, Miller and Kozan as examples.

You don't recruit kids by showing them all the talented players already on the roster who have a better shot than them.

Rivals has no videos of him showing up to their camps. I bet him not showing up to their specific camps is what is causing them to rate him so low.

He is a composite #92 overall and 4* on ESPN (#18 overall) and Scout (#12 OT)

I mean, how early does a high school tackle expect to play? If he's open to a redshirt, sign him. I think AU could work him into the rotation after a redshirt. I have not seen any tape on him, but I seriously doubt he's ready to start out of the gate. I could be totally off base though, but Cyrus Kouandjio's don't come around very often.

He doesn't strike me as a basketball player. Does look athletic enough to play in our offense though.

IIRC Gus sells the opportunity to compete for for playing time, not playing time itself.
