To me his reaction sounded blah and that he said something just for the sake of saying something. He is about him more than any team right now. Not downing him for it, just saying what I believe to be reality at the moment...I could be reading too much into things though too.

Adding DQ to this offense next season would be ridiculous. I am so freaking excited about AU's future

Yep. Next year is our year. I fully expect us to be right there in the hunt for the NC. I'm really not sure I would pick against us vs any team in the country on a neutral field including bama.

We return practically everyone and a LOT of them are seniors who will be third year starters. Our offense could be right there with Oregon as best in the country.

And Chris Davis, Dee Ford, Ryan Smith, Ryan White, Craig Sanders, Nosa, Prosch, Clark, and Parkey.

They'll all be replaced by better players likely, but it still sucks to lose seniors and all of those guys I mentioned are playing really well and making a lot of plays right now.

Lawson will be eventually. Nobody we have coming in will be better than Davis at CB though.

Hopefully Ruffin and maybe Roberts will step up to that challenge.

Are either EE? What about Tre? It would be nice to get the linebackers/DBs in early..

I hope so too but when Dee has been healthy, he has been money. Also, Cody Parkey has been money. Lets hope we continue to field these awesome kickers.

Since Roberts and Tre are not taking their OVs til after the season I don't think they are. Not sure on Ruffin.

Roberts is still committed to Bama right?

Right but even Bama recruiting reporters say there is a strong chance we flip him, but that's why I said possibly Roberts in my OP.

Yeah I was just making sure something hadn't changed. I tend to slack on following recruiting during the season, especially when it is a good season.

Don't think St. Paul's offers that opportunity.

Damn.. I can't remember a recruit (besides Newton) that AU has needed as badly as Tre. The sooner he gets to AU, the better.

I am not sure he did. MGCCC had a rare Saturday game last week.

there are rumblings that Grantham will be out at the end of the season (maybe sooner?)... with our success and UGA's struggles on defense... wonder how this will affect Rashaan Evans?

Not sure. Evans has rarely talked about Grantham being a factor in his recruitment. He has always talked about his relationship with Richt and them being the first team to offer him. Depth was a factor against UGA but that may be softening with their poor D.
