It may not have been your intent but the man crush comment about Yox does come across and implies the post believes Yox was the issue, or at least a big part of it.

I agree, he has great technique and footwork. If I were the coaches, I'd challenge him to get down to 320 or so.

nope. I don't vote on posts. I think it's lame.

Yes, and the only reason I could see for someone down-voting the post was due to Yox, hence the comment - since S&C seemed to be absent the last two years.. Whatever though, doesn't matter.

Cool. No worries. I just probably over thought things as usual.

I agree YOX was at least part of the problem.. along with a certain other few on the coaching staff.

I really want DQ to stick I wish our passing game was better so he wouldn't even want to look elsewhere. Wouldn't surprised if Patrick turned out to be an "Eric Smith" type role.

I could see Pettway being that guy. He's already 220 or so. Could be 240ish after a year or two in college.

I do not want Sims because he does not want Auburn. Kid wants Bama in a bad way. Coach from Homewood told me this summer that Sims feels like if has to "settle" for AU it's because he "isn't good enough for Bama." frick tubby.

Wasn't me the first time, but I down voted that

Per AUR LINK

-New DT target emerging in 4* juco Dalvon Stuckey
-committed to Miami but has offers from Auburn, Florida, WVU
-expects to OV after the season
-Trying to be a Dec grad but might grad in May
-Auburn recruited him out of high school also
-Played versus AU commit Dampeer last week and called him the best center he has played this season

-Casher was turned off by Bama on his last visit
-Appears to be an AU/Ole Miss battle as FSU and Florida don't appear to have room for him.
-doubtful Casher and Sims both end up in the Auburn class

-juco OT Jordan Prestwood may visit for the FAU game next weekend

I would rather have Casher.

Also said he can play TE if needed. I have always liked convereted TEs for OT (Brandon Mosley for instance)

That is big. Does this apply to Juco too? Or only high school?

I'm not sure. Would think both but seems high school.

EDIT: I guess Bruce Feldman is saying:

quote:

Note that midyear enrollees still cannot sign NLIs (except for junior college transfers). So the impact may be limited if coaches are unwilling to sign a prospect to a financial aid agreement that locks the university in to providing a scholarship but does nothing to commit the prospect to the university.

Not so huge huge then.

Sims is a pussy too. Trust me on this one. We don't need soft lineman, we need ones that have a mean streak.
