He just said Bama was his leader. Sounds like he is trying to build the drama back after letting the cat out of the bag.

We know how that usually ends up

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but with each page having 20 posts wouldn't posts ending in 0 ala 500, 600, 700, 800, etc be the last post on a page not the first on a page? I am thinking 800 is 801.

And he is from Opelika. IMO Gump lock. The majority of Opelika residents hate Auburn University.

but a majority of their football players end up at Auburn... at least the ones AU wants, anyway (with the possible exceptions of melvin oliver, how i'm not sure we pursued, and corey larkin, who ended up being decent at UT).

Auburn's had at least one player from Opelika HS on the roster for the better part of 15 years.

penis envy.

There are still a TON of die hard Auburn fans from Opelika... and I'd bet a 'majority' of the town supports Auburn University.

I've been around Opelika people a decent bit and most don't seem to have anything against the University itself. What they hate is the fact that Auburn residents think they are better than Opelika residents. I'm not saying it's not true, but that seems to be where most of the resentment comes from.

The attendance at OHS football games speak differently. Fans are either wearing OHS stuff or Bama stuff.

I'll say this... There are two faces to Opelika. The northside old money/fairly well off (a lot of whom are moving to Auburn or Beauregard) are die-hard AU and are generally very tied to the university, and the southside projects are die-hard Bama because a lot of them are transplants from Tuskegee, Birmingham, ect.

The football games are mostly the latter because for the most part all the parents who care about their children's education are either moving to Auburn (my case) or putting them in Lee-Scott Academy

And e, the OP isn't counted in the "replies" count, so there's a slight displacement of the numbers vs. posts in a thread.

Like, if you post a new thread, there will be a "0" in the Replies column even though there's a single post

Thanks Sandman. I have never seen a replies column so that is why it never made sense to me.

Brian Matthews gives our Top 5 LB targets in alphabetical order.

Bryson Allen-Williams
Rashaan Evans
Shaun Hamilton

There's a list of "other targets" as well including Kevin Mouhon, Dillon Bates, Deshaun Davis, EJ Moss and Raekwon McMillan amongst a few others.

AUtigR24 2014 Auburn Football Recruiting Thread Does anyone think we have a shot of flipping Deshaun Watson? I'd really like to have him. Clemson can really sell him though on Tahj Boyd leaving

Stated a week or so ago that he and Demarre Kitt were 85% sure they'd go to the same school. If that were to happen OSU would seem most likely
