Alright a 5'6 DB is exactly what we need at Auburn.

Jacquizz Rodgers did fine at Oregon State and is doing alright for the dirty birds.
That being said I agree. Not quite sure what Lashlee is thinking about offering Taylor

Rodgers is a RB, not a DB. Plus Rodgers is right at 200lbs to be 5'6. Completely different body type than Taylor.

Maybe by offering to his Trooper's son he will quit talking shite about us(rumor, I know) to recruits.

4* LB Shaun Dion Hamilton (Montgomery, AL)
He seemed pissed he didn't get an offer on his recent bama visit. He talked up AU after that, but I get the feeling he likes bama.
I'm not saying give up on instate LB's next year, but I hope we make LB's in Georgia (like Raekwon McMillan) our top priority at that spot. I don't get a good feeling from most of those instate LB's on that list.

Maybe be by offering Blaise, some of you will realize that a lot of the crap you hear about Auburn and Trooper is straight from the Bama message boards... Trooper was not pushing kids to Auburn, but he was not trying to get them to go elsewhere either.

We offered him so trooper would push him to bama. Mind games.

Hopefully we offered him because he is worth a scholarship

I thought SDH is very good friends with Jeremy Johnson and likely to follow him to AU.

If Alabama doesn't offer him he is pretty much a lock for us. Only other school on his radar at the moment according to reports is Clemson but it is hard to imagine that JJ couldn't influence him away from Clemson

Hopefully we can get JJ to convince him to commit sometime soon.
I feel like this semester would be the easiest time to lock him up with JJ still in his ear.

I'd rather not go through another year long Dee Liner troll. I'm not afraid to admit the extreme butt hurt I have to in state kids screwing us. Too much talent in Georgia to put up with it.

Yea, that's pretty much what I'm thinking.
75% of this state consist of bama fans and the recruits in this state make up that number too. We have no chance to get one of these bama fan recruits that bama would take.
Also, I believe saban plays a game to get our focus on these guys, so we lose ground on others that we could get out of state.
Georgia is now the #1 state for talent and Richt is laying there with his naked arse up in the air. On top of that, we have RG now and he can do major damage there in the future.

If we're going to continue only getting kids from the state that bama doesn't want, the Capital One bowl will be the ceiling every year.

Bingo. This is what Tuberville did in his later years.
I'd actual say the Chick-fil-A Bowl. You have to get 9 or 10 wins to get to the CapitalOne Bowl.
Highly doubt our staff thinks like our fans. They'll go after the best players in the state regardless of who those guys grew up rooting for. It's time to land some of these guys.

Georgia also has elite defensive players every year. They also can't run out of state fast enough, there is no reason to get Yeldon, Liner, etc trolled every year. Maybe Craig can change that but I don't know.
