No, it's Racean Thomas like I suspected.

Exactly why Keith should not have announced a fews days ago he was doing A Live With Roc this Thursday. Looks like Allie or Justin beat him to the punch.

Cliff's on Roc's interview.

- Came down to Auburn on Friday with the intent of committing.
-Chose Auburn because of Gus, Auburn is home,
-Comes to Auburn to chill some anyway because he has an uncle that lives in Auburn.
-Differences for Auburn were the fit on offense and Auburn made him feel they needed Roc.
-Likely took at shot at Bama with this quote.
quote:

They showed me they needed me, not just that they wanted me. Some teams would just call or I'd call them, and they'd say they wanted me up there. That's not really acting like they need me, they're just saying they want me so I don't go to another team and have to play against them. That's not the same thing to me. That desire to feel needed was important.

-He is not recruit turn recruiter yet and will take visits in the fall.

Really hope he sticks. Seems to be a great player and a decent kid.

Lolno. Quinn is basically an LSU commit. And Shaw just doesn't seem that interested, he's had a top 3 of Bama, UGA, and Ole MIss for a while and I don't see that changing.

Agree on the others though, besides maybe Marshall. I think we would've offered when Casher decommitted if we wanted him

On one hand, I'm going to be worried about him flipping to Bama in the end no matter what. But then again, I kinda feel like he waited this long and took so many visits in order to be 100% sure he wanted to be at Auburn, which may make this decision more solid than most commitments

Trey has major state of Louisiana pride. I don't see us getting him unless he is not a take for LSU. I think we have a better shot with Cam Sims who has decided he will go out of state and has likely dropped on Bama's board. WR is also a position we we could make a big steal with a good season since there are so many quality WRs in every class. I don't see us flipping Roberts. He has deep Bama ties. With that said here is how I predict we close.

WR Cam Sims or a big late steal
OG Jordan Sims
OT Dontavius Blair
C Andrew Marshall
DE Andrew Williams
DT Josh Frazier
DT Somebody that comes on his senior season
LB/S Rashaan Evans
S Ronnie Clark
CB ?

Only if LSU passes. Which probably won't happen.

Who?

Elisha Shaw

Nope.

Stephen Roberts

Nope.

quote:

Ronnie Clark

With his comments, I won't be confident until his name is on the NLI.

Yeah I've felt pretty good about him since his surprise camp visit. Bama is still definitely a real possibility, but I would predict Auburn for now

AMM has felt good about Clark since the surprise visit a couple weeks ago and I posted a day or 2 ago that 2 people who are usually pretty good with info told me Clark was 1 of the guys a commit told Hoke last week was close to committing to us.

In the LIVE with Stanton Truitt thread, Truitt said the AU commits are optimistic about Clark and Clark likes Auburn alot.

Also said he's hearing good things about Nick Marshall from practice

Right now I see the class like this:

1-14. All of our current commits
15. Rashaan Evans
16. Ronnie Clark
17. Dontavius Blair
18. Andrew Williams
19. Draequon Murphy
20. Josh Casher (I think Bama passes)
21-25. A couple of more that will pop up later.

I've heard his walking/crawling skills are very questionable.
