Wasn't this the big knock on him and why he was dropping like a rock?

I think it was because he had gained a lot of weight iirc.

His weight gain was believed to be a big part of it.

Per BOL Jordan Sims dropped 20 pounds and had a great camp today at Bama including showing well against 2015 5* DT Daron Payne. Sims may be a take for Bama but I am not sure yet. They want 1 more OG and are in good shape with guys like Damien Mama, and Braden Smith.
They're rumored to be taking, like, 8 offensive linemen, so anything is possible at this point.

We've taken our share of OL in theast two recruiting cycles. Hard to sell PT right now.

"Georgia, Auburn, and Tennessee. That is my top three," McDowell told UGASports in a telephone interview on Sunday night. "It's not in that order, but those three are in my top three. Other schools are still in the mix."
Per Cortez McDowell.

Cortez McDowell has a final 3 of Auburn, UGA, and Tennesse in no order. He will commit on August 2nd and will visit Auburn and Tennessee 1 more time before he coommits. All per UGA Rivals.

Edit: Looks like TT beat me to it by seconds.

Center and Guard will have plenty of opportunities for selling playing time since Dismukes, Slade and Danzey will all be gone and Kozan and Diamond will both be two years older than this class.

Tackle will be an easy class to target next year

I intended to put "top 2" prospects...but yes I remember them...they both could turn out to be stars, but when you place their POTENTIAL up against WRs at most other SEC schools (which is basically all we can do on message boards)...you still get meh...

I've seen (and said) some really dumb things on this board, but this one might be the worst one this week.

I always thought Tony Stevens was superior to ERob and was only ranked so "low" (hard to call top 100 low) because everyone thought he would never see the inside of a college classroom due to grades

Danzey is a redshirt Soph and likely will not be gone by then.

In hindsight I'm gonna assume you thought I meant that those 2 didn't compare with WRs that have already played and have experience at other SEC schools...yea i admit, poorly worded on my part...but I meant that Stevens/Walker IMO are not as impressive to me as the top couple of WR recruits that were brought in at some of the other top SEC schools this past class

Gentleman. Lets lighting up around here. This thread is about what juniors in highschool are doing. No reason to attack, or get testy toward someone.

Basically sealing the deal Brandon Harris just showed up at LSU's camp to throw with LSU's WR prospects.

I thought our guys had him to LSU, right?

ETA:

I wish him luck. He seemed like a great kid, and has a huge upside.

Yea it seems like a win-win for both schools regardless...wouldn't be surprised to see White officially get that offer today

1000% yes. Stevens was an elite WR prospect if just taking his skills into account. He has an AJ Green level ceiling. Particularly once he bulks up some and maybe improves his forty a slight bit.

Most AU fans that don't wear the blind shades already knew it, but glad it's confirmed for them.

btw-Not saying you were one of them.

Bring on White!....He will be a good one, if we can get him.
