So where was his last visit, Alabama or Auburn? I was thinking he was in Auburn last weekend or something which would make his first tweet really an odd thing.

Rashaan Evans still has us in his top 5, as of The Opening.

The recruiting talk starts just after the 2:00 mark in the video.
Evans says he's "definitely" going to visit us several more times. Seems like he wants to rush the passer, but also likes our scheme and coaches. Talked about the Star position.
Wants to commit during the season this year.

New article on Sean White sounds good for Auburn. Seems like if we want him we have a really good shot. Interest has picked up since his MVP though. He said pretty much every team that needs a QB has been showing interest since he won it.

What is everyones feeling on our recruiting for this year. We are at 9 commits right now which is a little low compared to most of the top teams but we seem to be in play for a good many guys..
Are we slacking right now or just on idle waiting for a lot of guys who are going to commit late?
It has been a off year for me keeping up with the recruiting. I have been very busy with the biz and have not had a lot of time to read on here or 247. I actually let me subscription end there so I am behind on info..

I hear that has more to do with Auburn now putting Sean White higher on the board than Harris. Auburn may not want to keep up with the Harris drama, who knows.

I wouldn't say drama as much as that the relative surety of White is better than the possibility of Harris. Harris isn't dramatizing anything, he's just not likely to come here. White is more likely, presuming we offer.

I honestly think that we are in with a lot of good recruits that are waiting to see what shape the team takes this year. If our defense starts to shape up and look like a contender defense with possibility of being good, I think we can lock in a good bit of defensive recruits.
As for the offensive side of the ball, i think once they start seeing that we can still be good on offense, they will start getting on board. Most of the teams that have a lot of recruits are also established with defined shapes to both sides of the ball.

If we feel that Jeremy Johnson is our future at QB then having a QB like White for 4-5 years would be a fantastic deal for AU.

Honestly, I don't have a good feeling right now. We only have nine commits and most of those came from Craig. Just seems we have no momentum right now.
