Clayton wasn't really heavily sought after.
True but had a solid career. I don't think Opelika had many sought after since 2003 til this year either. We signed 4* DT Tommy Jackson in 2002 and 4* RB Tez Doolittle (who became a DT).

More on Evans. Sounds like he is playing games. Per JH Evans told our staff that Auburn was his leader. Something changed or he is trying to get attention.

He knows he will OV Auburn, UGA, and Bama.

I take any news this time of year with a grain of salt. Yeldon taught me that.

Go ahead and call me what you will (I'm going to bed anyway),but I'm not getting a good vibe on recruiting right now.

I've "decided" that like recruits, my interest in Auburn's 2014 recruiting class will be determined by our 2013 season.

Looking more competetive on field than last year and becoming bowl eligible will likely net us a Top 10 class however; anything less than that will be painful to watch

That said, as long as we dont go winless in SEC play two years in a row, I am optimistic about the 2015 class. I think the pieces are there but it may take longer than we would like to put them together

Freeze turned Ole Miss around in one season. There is no reason to think Gus can't do the same with more talent and a proven top SEC DC.

There are factors to consider on the Casher Sitch. Casher is 6'1 on a good day so his only likely position spot in the SEC would be at Center unless he grows a couple of inches. Bama just took a center commitment. He is not a guard for most SEC teams, especially Bama. It is more likely Bama is loving on Casher to get to Tre, who showed to be one of the best cover LBs a couple weeks ago at the Rivals challenge. When you think about guys like CJ Mosely you realize how much Saban loves LBs who can cover well.

as long as we don't completely implode this season, there's no reason to think Tre will waiver.

Honestly, Cashier is a nice player, but there's no reason to sweat a center/guard prospect, especially in June.

With QB being our biggest weakness I think the better the protection the more competent the QB will appear

Outside of Cam and Fairley, the O-line was the biggest contributer to our 2010 success which has made me a big supporter of keeping the line stocked

Daron Payne - 2015 5* DT from Shades Valley - LINK

Says he really likes Garner. It's between us and bama right now. bama "knows how to win games" but he's been an Auburn fan for a while. Engineering and PT are big factors. He's visiting this weekend. Wants to decide his Sr year, but won't rule out decision his jr year.

Yeah, Tre is the one trying to keep Casher from wavering

Here I thought Casher was the solid commit and Tre was more likely to waiver.
