So Williams decommitts from LSU and we're in the Top 7 for Brandon Harris? Are these two related? Would signing both be no pants, fap-worthy?
1. No. The related parts are below. 2. Yes

From JGT: quote: FWIW -- Derrick Moncrief, who is teammates with Williams, said two weeks ago that he felt Auburn was Williams' clear leader. That same day, Williams committed to LSU. Moncrief was beyond surprised and said: "This isn't over." He was right.

What is the likelyhood Prosch sees more carries in short yardage situations? Receiving as well

He ran decently well last year on limited carries and catches extremely well

CAP is a load so my guess is sparingly. But a misdirection pass ala the one to Lutzy in the 2010 IB could be very much in the cards.

I just want to see Prosch become Mike Alstott 2.0

If Borges was still here, we'd see that wheel route he ran with Carl Stewart, about 8 times a game with Prosch.

Ronnie Brown perfected it. That's why I am so excited about Kam Pettway. He has the skill set to be a poor man's Ronnie Brown.

In Gus' spread, unlikely. You don't see the HBack run the ball often, if at all. He may get the occasional pass thrown to him in the flats though

He will have some wrap around, fumble rooskie type trick play drawn up for him that will back fire on us.

In 2010, when Gus' offense worked as well as it ever has, Eric Smith had 1 run and 5 catches. In 2012 Arkansas State's main Hbacks were (I think, not sure) Anthony Kincy and Andre Smith. They combined for 12 catches. If Prosch gets a lot of touches this year, it's a sign that Gus has adjusted the offense to get him the ball.

Hell, maybe even a rich man's Ronnie Brown.

They could always dual train him for short yardage running situations.

Gus uses the wildcat in short yardage. Imagine Prosch as Wildcat QB But seriously

Man if we could get D'haquille Williams, I'd feel a lot better about the QB situation.. The de-commitment has gotta be a good sign for us with Moncrief on board.

This is what I was trying to get at in my post. Signing a top receiver should attract a top QB or vice versa.

I dont really care if we get the QB or Receiver first since both are positions of need but I think signing one will go a long way in attracting the other . . . JMO though

I was watching Harris' highlights (QB), man he's got a nice release. It would be nice to get these two LA kids.
