Figured I'd throw this here since he hasn't reported yet, but y'all, I keep getting more and more excited about Montravius Adams. Any of y'all with Rivals subscriptions, I'd advise reading the tidbits Hoke posted on the Bunker about him.

ETA: Upon closer inspection, I now realize this probably would've been better suited for the 2013 Signees thread that I completely forgot we had. Live and learn, I guess.

I'm tempted to change from 247 to rivals. It seems like Auburn Sports has way more content that Auburn Undercover. I can only read so many of PM's "Ramblin Around" columns.

247 has more going for it with the lists of targets and visits, crystal ball, etc, though.

- Played Nick Marshall his sophomore year. Adams compared the two of them to Cam/Nick
- Knew he was going to Auburn on his OV when they got ice cream at Toomer's. He told Garner, who didn't believe him
- Order was Auburn, Alabama, Clemson
- Ran second-team on his high school track team

I remember the ice-cream comment. That was on his last visit I believe.

Yup, and in a Bryan Matthews article 3 months ago. The AU, Bama Clemson stuff was in an AJC article a couple of weeks ago. The Nick and relay parts were new and interesting though.

Try and find someone with an Auburn account and just lurk. Not worth the money and 247 is going to get significantly better.

Jay Tate and JHoke though are really turning rivals around for AU. You don't have the maverick of JLee and they both are making an effort to put as much information (even if it is repetitive) so you constantly have updated news.

IMO, the AU board (Bunker) and writers (Hoke and JGT) are better on Rivals than 247. But 247 is better in basically every other facet

Agreed.

One thing I'd add is that Bryan Matthews seems like a better guy for predictions on recruits.

I feel like 247 does a better job coordinating information from the team reporters and give that to other teams' 247 so they can sort through it all.

247 is pushing the envelope in terms of recruiting tools they provide. Rivals just already has established relationships with most coaching staffs because they have been in the game so long. They also know recruits so well through things like Rivals camps. Helps their cause but I'm sure 247 will buidl all that up too

actually a LOT of what 247sports has been taking credit for was done by TheRinger well over a year ago. It really sucked that the site was shut down. I loved that place.

Rephrase, 247 is smart enough to take good ideas that were pushing the envelope unlike Rivals

Just saw Dameyune Craig at Arby's in Auburn on my way to Carlowville for a reunion on my moms side of the family. Dudes got a pretty nice white Mercedes.

ESPN BREAKING NEWS: Sources claim Auburn QB Dameyune Craig was talking on an Apple iPhone while driving said vehicle. Although talking on a hand-held device while driving is currently legal in the state of Alabama, it is illegal in other states and might be illegal in Alabama in the near future. More to come...

Everything Dameyune Craig owns and does is pretty damn slick. He is the most suave guy of all time. Mutliple times I have heard him described as "walked out of a GQ magazine" and a girl I know said that there isn't a piece of clothing that doesn't look perfectly tailored to fit him.

Man has style. I wish I could say the same about myself
