Just watching the skills challenge for the first time...Sean White looks damn good...the LSU and Arky QBs looked like shite

White has a beautiful throwing motion

I heard that Cornwell looked absolutely dreadful (someone who was watching said the bammer QB) and has a long windup and is wildly inaccurate. He's just big.

Corny is hurt and did not participate in the QB challenge.

I think I missed him...had it on in the background and when I heard White's name I started paying attention

LSU's Brandon Harris was ridiculously inaccurate and at the end was running to the wrong ball holders...looked either really disinterested or else he has a very inaccurate arm

SEC Recruiting Board should have a lot of updates. I have a game thread going there.

White has such a natural throwing motion. Hasn't thrown a bad pass yet. He hit that LSU TE commit right in the hands for a deep drop on their first series.

fwiw, he threw the ball 66 yards on his deep throw in the skills challenge, which he won.

Jeremy is going to have some competition and that is a very good problem for Auburn to have. A lot better than Clint vs Barrett.

It is a good problem to have .

FTR, I still have no idea why we burned JJ's redshirt.

After watching what Gus did with Cam and Nick am I the only one who wants a QB that can run?

I agree. I've always thought Gus' offenses needed a dual-threat guy to be effective against the SEC's best defenses, and so far that's been true.

But at the same time, the best pure pocket passer Gus ever had here was Chris Todd, so maybe an elite passer can be just as effective. We don't really know.

But Gus' offense thrives with dual-threat guys.

If we ever have a very good passer to balance things out, its gonna be soo nasty.

I think it can thrive with a throwing QB. It's a multidimensional offense either way
