All but Moncrief are listed as CB's so which of them would get moved to safety if they all signed?
Moncrief- BS?
Ruffin- Corner?
Bessent- Corner?
Robers- FS?
Simmons- BS?

Auburn is recruiting Roberts as a safety plain and simple. Not sure they even mentioned corner to him. He and Moncrief are safety prospects.
Ruffin and Bessent are both corner prospects and I'm not sure what Simmons is being recruited for.
You guys don't need to forget that 4 of our 13 or 14 seniors are DBs so they have to be replaced and there are 2 corners and 2 safeties graduating. The extra might be due to the fact that we have 4 juniors now and they will have to be replaced too next year, might be trying to get an extra guy now so they can focus on big fish next year while this class is learning.

Simmons is a safety prospect and Evans is a star prospect

Can the EEs go to Pasadena?.... probably not, but I don't know if anyone's heard the question asked before... Auburn flies out Dec 31st, I think.

spring is the earliest they can start with the team. Probably something to do with being on a team in the fall.

EEs can participate in bowl practice but cannot participate in the game. I don't know if they get to go/ given tickets

The bowl is when? January 6? That is before classes even start right so how many practices could they make?

They can practice whenever they get cleared by the NCAA. Just like you can practice before school starts in the fall.
Probably won't get cleared until after Christmas according to jgt but they gives them a week and a half maybe

yeah, practice is what I'm talking about... would be some good experience for a couple guys. I realize they won't be playing in the game (though it would be awesome if we could have DQ out there...)

Get some LB who is graduating from college to enroll in a graduate program this spring so that he is eligible to play for us in the BCS NC

We start practice tomorrow. Don't know how many we're allowed to have though.

I believe We can have as many as we are allowed to have on scholarship in the spring and they can do practice only after they are cleared by NCAA

Truitt, who committed to Auburn in July, will finish high school on Friday and hopes to join the Tigers for a few days of bowl practice before they leave for Pasadena, Calif., on Dec. 31.
“It would be really big, just to see how practice goes before spring,” Truitt said. “And just get up with the players and learn things that I need to know early. That would be pretty fun.

that is really awesome. I wish I had the option to graduate early when I was in high school, hell I would have done it just to get out early. My second semester of high school I had PE, golf PE, humanities where we played trivia pursuit every day and a typing class.

15 total bowl practices, I believe... they'll practice this week, then take a couple days off for christmas, then fly on Dec 31st.
probably 10 on campus practices and 5 in Cali.

Who is this Simmons kid that you all are talking about
Posted on 12/15/13 at 4:04 pm to RockyMtnTigerWDE
Smith and Cheese really like the long, rangy, DB's. Simmons is 6'-02" and can play both Safety positions and Boundary corner. All of them are 6' + tall.
