There's usually attrition leading up to spring training(practices - I'm thinking baseball lately) too.

there's a log jam at DL... some of the non-SRs who weren't recruited by the current staff might see themselves fitting in better somewher else (we already know about delaine). OL might be another with a bunch of returning starters on that unit (5 out of 6 who got PT in 2013). Will be interesting to see if Wallace sticks around or does like KF.

Markell Boston just committed to Auburn! Happy to have him. We needed another true safety in this class.

Just please let there be one Richard Sherman in this class. The continued melt downs in the SEC if we had a good DB that talked shite like be does would be incredible.

Moncrief has the size of Kam Chancellor.

The best part about those guys is they were late round picks that have become studs. Pete Carrol has done a hell of a job with that defense.

Alabama commitment De'Shawn Hand has predicted RaShaan Evans to Auburn.

Boston is going to be a big deal IMO. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

This is why I just called it "Off the board." Who knows who is trolling at this point? Deep down I think RE signs with AU still. But I would like a private conversation with Alan come Thurday...

So for real...since we offered Boston, we probably whiffed on Parker, right?

Yep.

I like Boston though. Athletic looking kid who isn't afraid to hit somebody.

I find myself giving the name test to a bunch of players. Can I picture this name being a star. His works, so I'm happy

wait, hold my drink, I'm about to meltdown bc what Hoke said

quote:

Well they don't have much room left and want one more safety. Boston is a safety.

Auburn could take two more safeties in Evans and Boston, but that hasn't been the plan.

So we've been recruiting Bonney, Parker, Simmons and now Boston all as just backup plans to RE? Those guys didn't have committable offers? I'm not challenging you here I'm actually asking. I hear what you're saying but that's 5 guys for one spot.

I specifically asked about those guys and if they wanted to commit, would their commitment be taken on the spot. I repeatedly was told no, it wouldn't be taken on the spot.

Jokanson said his offer would most likely be related to how we felt about Evans the other day.
Hoke has been strangely off some though the past couple of months. Nothing against him but I hope he misses another one here.

Some bad news comingf out the day before NSD?

I would like to know what are numbers are as well. How many returning scholarship players do we have?
We are at 61 to 63 right now with the 2 variables being if Dimitri stays on Scholly as a Walk On and if Chase Robison, the TTU transfer get a scholly this spring as was reported expected to happen.
