quote:It's very cramped but your days are slightly off. The plan is to leave for UCLA Thursday not Friday. The granddad's 80th B-Day party is on Saturday not Sunday. Saturday is also the last day Gus can do an IHV because Sunday is a quiet period day and all person to person contact that day must be on campus. Also Sigma said a family friend posted on ITAT that the party Saturday would be on campus FWIW. Also Kirby Smart supposedly invited himself to the party as he will visit Saturday also.
RaShaan Evans making that trip to UCLA is just a tight fit. He would have to make it on Friday, come back on Saturday, and then have his Grandfather's birthday (and Gus Malzahn's OV) to attend on Sunday. That's just a lot of stuff planned, all crammed into a limited amount of time. And him possibly canceling makes me think that he figured out where he truly wanted to go this weekend.
Just my take.

I doubt Auburn will let Kirby Smart on campus for the party

The only ones I think Bama wants bad are Roc and Tre and I don't see either of those going anywhere. Only others would be the KB or SR since they've been committed there before. But I think it is just them claiming it because they want revenge because they think Evans is favoring Auburn and Auburn has flipped their players.

quote:Just checked Andrew's twitter. He retweeeted 2 of his friends saying they (his friends) are going to UOV at UGA next week. Andrew told them to let him know when they are going. Andrew may visit UGA but he does not say it in that tweet. The OP on AUC was mistaken.
Andrew Williams will visit UGA next weekend.

Let him come, would be awkward as hell for him.

Yeah somebody on AUC says he was close to Pruitt at FSU but doesn't like 3-4 / wants hand in dirt. Had a great visit to Clemson via his twitter.

I'd love to see Kirby come to campus and try to hangout around Gus and Co. in their territory

Everyone go read Justin Hoke's latest recruiting update and relax for a while.

I'd like some cliffs, too. TIA.
But ppl getting nervous about Evans when we've been given exactly zero reason to be nervous is hilarious. Evans is going to Auburn. Point blank. Period. He hasn't done anything in these last couple of weeks that he didn't say he would do. Visits to Alabama, Auburn and possibly UCLA. That's exactly what's happened. And now everybody on here is dissecting every quote -- line by line -- of every interview he's giving wondering what it means and going as far as to think the kid's going to UCLA.
I will say it does make for great entertainment though. Recruiting never disappoints when it comes to fans.

Ron Sanders 247 hearing Evans might be scratching his UCLA trip.
But the way his voice cracked when he mentioned UCLA in a recent interview had me convinced he was a Bruin lock.

I didn't really learn much from it about Evans that hadn't already been stated. The only thing I really learned was ASU's advance on Stuckey and Roc Thomas got a puppy.

1) Auburn is the team to beat, 60% per Justin Hoke
2) Gus Malzahn will get to spend more time with RaShaan Evans on Wesnesday when he goes to the Auburn vs Alabama basketball game
3) RaShaan Evans loved all of the time he got to spend with the staff, and it meant a lot to be with all of the other Auburn recruits (feels the trust)
4) Auburn's staff still feels they lead, and has felt that way since the Iron Bowl
5) Don't worry, Towel is here
6) Gus Malzahn also has his inhome visit soon, which will only help
