do we really have a shot w Godchaux?
No clue but I would like to see his name on the back of an AU jersey just as a snub to the lsu fans.

Mitchell can lay the wood, no doubt. But unless he can get to 225+ his chances at playing fulltime vs. situationaly(sp?) are slim. Garrett was moved to OLB this season when he returned IIRC, right?
There are 3 kids in this class that IMO, we will be talking about having been overlooked coming in; Kennion, Truitt and D. Davis. Davis isn't as tall as Tre or Evans but his film is impressive, especially dropping into coverage.

Is he ever going to actually play? Seems like we've been hearing about him since the 70s.

Yes, he is very similar to percy harvin in the pros. A game changer when he is healthy enough to play, but rarely healthy enough to play.

He was hurt for one season. Y'all are acting like he's been hurt his whole career.

To add to that, we don't even know if he's a game changer when healthy.

I've always heard analysts say God-Chow FWIW

I didn't say that. Just we hear about Garrett every offseason, and he never plays, for whatever reason.

Don't really remember hearing his name before the new staff came in. But I think he's going to have to battle to even get on the field this year. Therezie has the Star position. Frost has the MLB position. And McKinzy has the WLB position with Swain playing pretty good behind him. Don't see where we can get him on the field unless he's just an absolute stud.

The first time he's ever been hyped up is last spring once he moved to the star spot.

He got pt as true freshman at LB. He asked the staff to move him to safety but Chizik wouldn't because he is Chizik. He showed out during Aday game and was slated to start before injury Staff even played him later with injury. My guess is he starts somewhere next year

That was Thigpen who told him that. I mean that may have come from Chizik up the ladder but the conversation Garrett had was with Thig

He came in at WLB at one point in the season before being reinjured and he played head and shoulders above what we had

If we somehow managed to flip him, I'm gonna pronounce it "Gotcha".
