As usual, things didn't go the way TTs wants it to go and he pitched a colossal fit. Then everyone reacted to his fit and some lurkers decided now was the perfect time to jump off the deep end.

I would go over to the rant and rip them for a while, but I just got home and don't feel like dealing with their stupidity this evening.
I did just get off the phone with my dad though and learned Reese is probably def out the Clemson game. That is going to suck. Besides qb, a position we really don't need to be out our starter.
Oh well. We'll see what happens.

He's suspended indefinitely, so yes, I'd say he's missing the Clemson game for sure.

Well, TT means well I think...
Wonder how long indefinitely is. My dad said dui as well since his dumbass got in a car. Been there, done that as well (got in a car after drinking), but that is a dumb move for an AU football player.
Knowing Chizik, we may have to do without him for a while which is going to suck really bad considering how difficult our Sept is and he is the qb of our young Oline.

In a vacuum, its not that big of a deal, but when your starting center does it a week before kickoff, its bound to ruffle some feathers. The timing of the action was worse than the action itself, imo.
Next Saturday can't get here soon enough.

Chizik is as advertised. He's a great guy, class act, and disciplinary type guy. He means well in almost everything he does in terms of punishment. He honestly doesn't put up with shite. The problems, as of now, lie with the players. Chizik has really hammered down on them, and after the Zeke Pike arrest, they weren't supposed to be going out to bars. Some did, some didn't. I don't know if he eventually let up on that and gave the guys another chance, but regardless, Reese Dismukes fricked up. Some of the players just don't get it. Nosa Equae was even hitting on water girls at one practice and got in trouble for it (just one example). There's also word (and it's been seen) that some players just love to party. It seems like none are there to win championships.
Now, about Curtis Luper and Trooper Taylor... It seems like Luper is the one that connects the "slutty" Tigerettes with the big-time players. Yes, we have more slutty Tigerettes than we ever had in the past. I don't like that one bit. It wasn't like that last year, the year before, the year before that, etc... but, now it is. Trooper is Trooper, and of course he does dirty things. After today, I honestly wouldn't disagree with anyone that says the players are taking after the coaches like Trooper. Seems like a lot don't want to be serious. When I say this, I mean it. I'd rather us get rid of Luper and Troop at the end of the season and get some guys that do the job as clean as possible. I don't care if it loses some big-time recruits for us. Chizik is a great coach and an even greater person, and I don't want to see him fired and Auburn crash and burn over anything Luper/Troop do.
Point blank: We need some better role models as coaches for the player. Loeffler, Van Gorder, and Chizik are great. Trooper and Luper are not.
That's all I've got...

So, did he get hit with a DUI charge for getting in the car? A DUI charge is definitely a bit more of a problem. And did he actually drive or more the car or just get in it and start it and got charged?
Or was it just a public intox? Because if just a public intox, IMO, a one game suspension is sufficient...
