Reported by BM. I had assumed zero shot, but if that was the case then I thought we would just stop it. I am hoping they got cleared and that Auburn clears them tomorrow.

Bamasgot13 is OK in my book. He doesn't always get it right, but for the most part brings civil discussion.

There isn't even a comparison. CrimsonFever can't withstand his Auburn hate.

TBell...

When I read that this morning, I couldn't help but laugh hysterically at that quote from TBell.

Players always say stuff like that after a coaching change

I can back that up. I spent some time with one of our current players a few days ago, and I asked him about Roof. Told him not to sugarcoat it. He said what we all suspected. Roof is one of the niciest, most engaging people you will talk to, but when it came to playing, they didn't listen to him a whole lot.

Yeah, I think it's their way of saying "things will be different now," in an effort to get the fans excited.

True, I suspect Chiz is far more hands-off than he lets on.

I think he lures coordinators by saying, "Come to AU, I'll pay you a lot of money and you can be totally in charge of your system on your side of the ball."

No sense in Chizik not getting some of the blame for Roof. He hired him, if he was meddling then he should have stayed out, and if he wasnt meddling, why is he making millions of dollars? I think the defense will be improved, but those who expect a huge turn around are going to be Dissapointed.

Roof's defense helped win the Natty in '10. No way Chiz could get rid of him during the season last year IMO.

Yea dude is trying pretty hard to piss us off. And the state fans really want this to be a rivalry.

Yes but only part the d line and only in the second half.

But there was no way they could have fired him. But we all knew it was going to happen after 11'. From the d in 08' to how much it changed the next year with mostly the same players, it was all roof.

The D in 08 wasn't great either.

In 2008, the Auburn defense allowed 1,667 total rushing yards, 2,146 total passing yards, 4.91 yards per play, and 317.8 yards per game. They allowed 18 points per game.

In 2009, the Auburn defense allowed 2,033 total rushing yards, 2,834 total passing yards, 5.15 yards per play, and 374.4 yards per game. They allowed 27.5 points per game.

Pretty big difference in the '08 and '09 defenses...
