I don't think anybody knows where Foster is going and that includes Foster himself.

His recruitment is like musical chairs, with his favorite changing with every step (day). Whatever school closest to his arse when the music stops (NSD)will maybe get his sig.

I am going to stick with the info I received on Foster a month ago.

Id love to have him. He is the most important piece. But I dont think we end up with him

But fingers are crossed..

I just hope we don't strike out on Foster and lose Cunningham because we felt confident. Frick that noise.

Also, supposedly Volquest is having a meltdown spewing the "Auburn dirtiest program in the history of dirty program etc" type mantra and have pretty much conceded Carl Lawson to us.

Volnation on the other hand is saying that his family is coming with him so that way when Auburn tries to back him out of his commitment to UTk that he definitely gave the other weekend, he can lean on them for strength

That's the Key phrase. It's outdated now. There is some info from just after the UAAA game that is still relevent and points to Auburn, as does all the other signs for those who have paid attention the past 3 weeks.

On AUC, it looks like Cunningham might be going to Vandy.

Check back a couple pages. KK gave details here why he thinks that way.

There's a 24/7 article that's saying he's making his decision tomorrow and will tell that coaching staff, then he'll announce on NSD. Seems like that info would probably either leak out or get figured out by NSD.

True, but it sounds like our coaches keep saying they're recruiting him for the Star position. I'm interested to see how this will work out in the future in terms of LB recruiting if we'll basically only be recruiting for two true LB positions.

Our LB #'s as of now are Frost, McKinzey, Holland, Mitchell, Swain and Garrett.

If we end up with Foster, that will be 3 in this class with Toney and Flowers, so unless they move one or two guys to the Star spot, that's 9 LB's for 2 positions and Holland is the only Sr, so that's 8 plus whoever we bring in next year. There's a lot of potential with the guys we have, they just need some good coaching. I feel good having Ellis Johnson as our LB coach.

Swain got moved to offensive side of the ball last year and probably will play HBack

Frost will probably get looked at for Star, Garrett definitely will get looked at for the star (played Safety in HS) and Mitchell has potential too since he has a smaller frame (probably doesn't have the coverage skills)

Didn't know that about Swain.

I personally think Frost stays at OLB. I think Mitchell is probably the best bet to play Star out of that group.

I'd love to have Cunningham, though. He seems like he could probably end up at OLB with a year or two in the weight room. I could see him play around 235/240 pretty comfortably with his height.

I've watched a lot of Auburn football the past couple of years, and I feel pretty confident saying there are no stars on that defense

He may be getting Swain confused with Landrum... Landrum was recruited as a LB but got moved to H-Back this past offseason.

I could have sworn Swain moved too but ya'll are probably right.

Either way not like Swain has shown promise since he arrived on campus. The only thing I've seen him do is pass out behind me in econ class and start snoring

He didn't.

You mean he didn't show much promise his RS year and this past season? Well, if we're going that route, our entire team is fricked because almost no one showed much promise in 2012.
