Hoke said in the war room that two guys in the top 250 committed elsewhere could visit this weekend... might be them

When he said that he was referring to Ford and Tenpenny. He was surprised Mac showed up. He expected him to go to Rutgers.

I had hoped you would make an appearance when I turned on the bagman light.

Going to be a fun ten days. The staff has done a good job. We the JUCO route was a good idea. Last 4 commits had previously committed to other schools. That is a good sign.

I do not follow closely but who are the key players you would like to see Auburn get that we have a decent shot at
1. Foster.
2. Green (shock the world)

Lawson, Foster, Johnson, and Green

We get those four and I don't care what the rest of the class looks like

edit: Can't count

1. If we get Green, I would be ecstatic.
2. Foster is a big need at linebacker. Could possibly start day 1 if he can somehow beat out a senior Holland at middle.
3. Keep Lawson. This is another must with Lemonier leaving early and Ford having injury issues each year.
4. A freshman defensive tackle. I would love Adams but I think that ship sailed when the team shite the bed this past season.
5. If we can end up with the Alexander brothers, that would fill two needs with very solid players and Mackensie could end up a shut down corner.
6. One of the speed backs. While Green could possibly come in and run beside Mason using Mason in more of a useful OMac role or corners, I would love to see us take a true burner for that spot.
7. Hutchinson. Sounds weird but I actually want us to make room for him since he was loyal through the coaching shift and Clark will be a senior.
8. Zach Cunningham. I really think we need to take a freshman spur to learn the position while King is there and Cunningham fits the bill. he is raw so hopefully doesn't have a lot of bad habits ingrained.

That would pretty much wind up the class. The JUCO guys that they took are all pretty good players at positions of need.

If AU is smart, they will bring his bro in next week and show they are recruiting him on his own merit not just with his brother. Recruiting them individually is the way to go.

Hadn't heard his name in a while, what's his status and why wouldn't the coaches take him since his spot from last year won't back count (I think)?

Talking about the punter not the TE that didn't qualify.

Reading is fundamental. I was wondering who this Clark guy was that he would be replacing but it would actually be our current punter Steven Clark

Writing is fundamental. You were talking about taking his spot from last year and back counting which would usually be referenced when talking about a recruit. I thought you were talking about the TE too.

Seems like a lot of Draft eligible underclassman were in Mobile this week, specifically guys like Lattimore and Mathieu who have questions mark but Dyers name has not mentioned and he would definently need to be selling himself to teams every chance he got

Did Dyer declare for the NFL draft? Because if he didn't the NFL won't draft him since he has eligibility remaining, right?

From AU Rivals (bwo Volnation) - Lawson Sr. was in Auburn on Wednesday, driving by himself to meet new strength and conditioning coach Ryan Russell and understand his philosophy while also touring the campus. Wanted to get the "vibe" of the coach who he described as, "very enthusiastic" and left him impressed.

I wonder if Russell goes bat-shite crazy on the sidelines during the games?

I was looking at CBS' draft projections a couple of weeks ago and Dyer was projected to be taken in the 7th round.

Somebody is going to get a pretty good back for cheap. As short lived as RBs are in the NFL Dyer probably cost himself millions of dollars.

FWIW JH is saying Auburn coaches feel they have a 50/50 shot.

He is probably just trying to get Rivals hits.
