Did we take Flowers over him?

Doesn't make sense to pass on a good LB prospect when we need LB's, but we are loading up on WR's and trying to steal another from UAB.

I'd pump the brakes on that a bit. The kid is really raw. He absolutely needs a RS year.

Umm we just got a commitment from a LB...

The coaches surely have a good reason when they stop recruiting someone. They likely feel they have someone better already locked up. We do only have 2 true LB spots.

How does a guy with tape like that get to the end of January without an offer from a school like Auburn or Clemson?

Really hope Foster has given us a silent commit, which almost appears to be the case.

But Cunningham seems like a kid, if he continues to improve and fill out, that could REALLY come back and bite us in the butt.

The staff has made Jonathan Ford a priority as shown by them convincing him to change plans and OV Auburn this weekend.

Spent almost the entire summer playing basketball in south Florida on his AAU team. Went to one Auburn camp and caught their attention. Couple that with the fact that he was on a run heavy team.

Why wouldnt we take Cunningham, Flowers, Foster, and Walton? Based on our on field perfomance from last year, all of these guys would likely compete for playing time in the fall

AA7, do you know what position this kid is being recruited for? What is his primary position at Sylacauga High School? He has some really good film. Seems like with Earnest Robinson, Jason Smith, Tony Stevens, and other possible wide-receiver prospects looking at Auburn, he could be getting recruited as a safety. It is hard to believe he is just now getting offered by the bigger schools like Auburn and Clemson.

Flowers has three to play three, I believe... he's not a typical JUCO.

I'm willing to see how it plays out... Cunningham could easily end up at AU when it's all said and done, but he's definitely a project.

IMO, we really need to target a HS DL or two... doesn't look like that's going to happen (considering Adams is a longshot).

Based on our on field performance, every position is up for grabs this fall except for kicker.

With Flowers & Toney, that makes 8 scholarship LBs for 2 spots. Add in Foster and/or Walton you're talking about potentially 10 scholarships for 2 on the field spots with Holland being the only SR and Garrett the only JR.

It's Foster Flowers, and Toney. Walton is being recruited as H-Back. Zach is being recruited for the star/safety position. The hidden meaning here is the coaches could feel they get the Alexander Bros, 1 at CB the other at safety.

From AU Rivals (bwo Volnation) - Lawson Sr. was in Auburn on Wednesday, driving by himself to meet new strength and conditioning coach Ryan Russell and understand his philosophy while also touring the campus. Wanted to get the "vibe" of the coach who he described as, "very enthusiastic" and left him impressed.

Lawson, can bench over 400 pounds and squats over 500 pounds.
