RB Altee Tenpenny is scheduled to visit Auburn this weekend per Andrew Bone

I would love to steal him from Bama.

Given Bama's depth at RB and number of recruits, I wouldn't be surprised to see at least on of the RB's flip. I think Arky is in better shape to get Tenpenny than we are though. At least Hog fans have been saying so on here for a while.

I'm curious if Tenpenny will make a stop in Tuscaloosa before/after his visit... it seems like a pretty easy pit stop on the way from Auburn to little Rock.

Agree, but you never know in recruiting.

Nose Pelini has been telling him AU is gonna get that NCAA hamma!

OT a little: Man, have yall seen LSU recruiting class? 21 4 stars on 247. Completely stacked and reloaded. This needs to be Auburn.

And still not the top 3 of 247 rankings or in the top 6 of the composite rankings.

As soon as they change the name of the state from Alabama to Auburn, we ought to be in good shape!

It's starting to seem like we're actually going to give Jason Smith a shot at QB. Otherwise, it seems like we're bringing in an awful lot.

We already have 4 JRs and 3 SOs (next year's classes), and we're adding Robinson (theoretically), Stevens, possibly Walker, and Smith. With none graduating, adding 4 this year would be overkill.

I have no problem bringing in a bunch of WRs... we need some of them to come and play right away.

90% of our pass-catching production walked out the door with Blake and Lutz... none of the guys currently on campus have stepped up (but their chance is now).

Yeah, since offense is going to be our new bread and butter, I'm okay with overloading on offensive players. We have to make sure we're good on at least one side of the ball.

That is a terrible idea and philosophy. That is exactly what UT did under Dooley, look where that got them.

I'm not saying we give up on defense completely, nor to recruit on a 75/25 offensive bias. I'm just saying I'm good with our recruiting classes having an offensive lean (numbers, not quality). I want us to be good on both sides of the ball, but we have to be good on at least one side. Chances are that side will be offense.

Abilty to move WR to DB is key. Ton of the top rated DBs going into the draft were former HS O players because that is where most HS coaches put the skill talent

I've been telling you barners since Jason Smith committed that he's going to stay at QB until he proves he can't play the position.

And why not. We have QB's that stay even after they prove they can't play the position.
