I have no problem with picking up Bell. The kid is a beast. I was hoping we'd miss on a couple to get around to him.

Have you seen Stewart play? Kid has potential to be special.

Prolly recruiting for AU

Or UGA. Apparently RF was sitting courtside at the Hawks game today. His friend (UGA fan) couldn't go so Reuben got the tickets

Two can play that game UGA

Foster visited Alabama this past weekend and it did not seem to go as planned for the 5-star MLB from Auburn, AL. Foster chose to leave his visit early and we have heard that Foster and Alabama coaches did not agree on something and Foster chose to end his visit early.

Everybody knows what happened. When Foster arrived for his visit, 'Bama coaches asked him for a commitment. He wouldn't do it. They pulled his scholarship offer.

End of story.

Yes, and that's why I say that. He played against some very weak competition. I watched him roll against some christian school and then get shut down in the playoffs.

JMO, he way win the heisman at bama.

Interesting tidbits from the guy who has talked to Derrick Green the most in terms of media coverage.

@rivalsmike best guess is #Michigan but not as much of lock as I thought @jcentifonti: @rivalsmike best guess on the landing spot for Derrick Green?
and

both helped themselves @kkolumbo: @rivalsmike did UT or AU make up the most ground on the in homes for Green?

•DT Montravius Adams, Vienna, Ga., No. 13 ESPN 150 (Alabama, Clemson, Georgia)

According to this from ESPN we're out of it for Adams. I thought he was scheduled to visit on Feb 1

Also, I didnt know he was seriously considering Alabama? Or does ESPN just assume every top recruit has Alabama as one of their final choices

There's also this:
quote:

•DE Carl Lawson, Alpharetta, Ga., No. 2 ESPN 150 (Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee)

As far as I know, Lawson is still committed so why do they have him listed as undecided?

Isn't AU supposed to be visiting Green again this week (along with Michigan and UT)?

I hope Bisaccia can seal the deal for us. Our RB tradition along with having a veteran coach with loads of NFL ties coaching his position has to give Green a ton to think about.

I'm not necessarily expecting to land Green, but I'm starting to become a little more hopeful.

The answer to all those questions is you're getting your recruiting info from ESPN. Not very reliable for anything recruiting.

That ESPN article also says were not in it for Alexander but we are for Antonio Conner and dee liner. All that article is is a piece of toilet paper for me to use after a Mexican buffet.

If you get your hopes up, you will probably be disappointed on signing day.
