I think Gus needs to get as many good players on the field before thinking about the punter. I would rather take an extra linebacker or lineman over a punter this season.

I'm with you on this one. I would like to see us go ahead and take him this year and leave us set at kicker and punter for a few years. We have the room now and I hate to wait and have to start a true freshman at punter.

We need LBers. Our D will continue to be a sieve as long as we have a 185 lb MLB starting for us.

I will say this much. If Hutch is let go then that likely means the staff feels it can get close to the max number of signees with other recruits.

I don't know any other way to take it. Which is surprising considering we have quite a few more spots to fill.

I think letting Hutch go would not only be a mistake but a duck move. No way we have that many quality players on board.

I'd hate to see it happen mainly because he's been firm to Auburn since last Feb and I don't think he's even visited other schools. Clark's a senior this year and I'd hate to have to rely on a true freshman or walk on in '14.
