Tigers means Clemson... not Auburn. Clemson is thought to be a serious threat for both Lawson and Adams... Auburn is not.

Sorry for the derail The_SwAUggford, but fishing is important stuff! Damn, these newbs are bossy. Back to recruiting! I just hope we get all of these guys in on the last weekend. I think we will have a good shot if their last impression of Auburn is hanging out with their future team mates.

Assuming Liner is Alabama bound, how much of that is because of Smart? If Smart leaves, does that affect Liner's decision or does he not care at this point.

[quote]Five-star linebacker Reuben Foster from Auburn, Ala., took an official visit to Washington last weekend and enjoyed it, but by all accounts this battle could come down to Georgia, Alabama and Auburn. Alabama will get the next crack at him this weekend, followed by Georgia the following weekend.

That will leave the final weekend before National Signing Day still open and Auburn is still trying to stay in the picture after a good visit with him this week. Currently, Foster seems to favor Alabama and Georgia, it appears, so his two upcoming official visit experiences should go a long way to helping him make his final decision.

Tray Matthews and Wiggins being Dawgs and friends with Foster will help Georgia, but if Auburn gets that last visit, watch out as there is a chance Foster could end up as one of many re-commitments this year.

Unless Jonesy knows something different I am not sure the staff takes him back...And Mike Groh is his lead recruiter for Bama anyway so it may not matter.

I don't have a rivals subscription, but....

@JHokanson

Five prospects committed to other major college programs are visiting #Auburn this weekend. Here's the complete list. LINK

One Rivals100 and four Rivals250 prospects are among the seven official visitors in Auburn this weekend.

This would make me laugh uncontrollably if we got him.

The Miss schools would absolutely lose thier minds.

Don't count on it. While recruiting is crazy, I'm pretty sure this is just a courtesy visit for Conner. He wasn't going to Miss. St. when Smith was there, so it's EXTREMELY unlikely he goes out of state where Smith is now.

It's between Bama and Ole Miss, and a kid from South Panola will have to sign somewhere other than Ole Miss for me to believe it can happen.

But here's to us giving it our best shot

I think Cam Newton should be getting his work-outs done in the Athletic Complex this weekend.

And next weekend.

And the weekend after that.

Just noticed that right after I posted. My luck

But there are some other big fish in the pond of recruiting that will be here this weekend so it's all good.
