Malzahn had in-home visit with Foster last night.
"It went great. My mom was there and they spent a lot of time talking," Foster said. "She likes him a lot, she cooked dinner and everything, she has to like him.
"This was a big moment. It was (Malzahn's) time to prove himself and the staff, and he did a marvelous job."
"It feels like I'm getting that feeling again," Foster said.

Why do I get the feeling that Reuben didn't say that?

Reuben had a great in home with Gus and Cheese. He says he has that same feeling about Auburn that got him to commit in June
That's great news. Now can we expect the recruiting services to say he's overweight and has inflexible hips like they were when he was committed but when he opened back up all of a sudden he was an unstoppable force (in fairness this could have been because he really showed out at practices for allstar games).

re: Bama's LB numbers vs ours.
There, he'd compete with 16 LBs for 4 spots. Here, he'd compete with 8 LBs for 2 spots. I'm no mathematician but those seem pretty comparable.
Now, the talent level of the 16 vs the 8, that's up for serious debate.

Sounds good on Foster. Maybe mom will be the difference in us getting him back.

Not much of a debate. He knows the talent level of our LBs.

Alot ot that had to do with him getting up to 252 lbs and playing quite a bit slower. He has played better since getting down to 235 lbs.

That is one thing I've never understood, playing time is the one commodity that Auburn should be able to sell to these guys.

Foster is either easily swayed or extremely polite. Everytime he has a visit or speaks to a coach no matter the school he sounds like he is going to sign with that school.

yea, I agree. We need to spread the rumor everywhere that Chip Kelly wants Todd Grantham at Philly. It could only help us with Foster.
