quote:I don't know why people are still nervous about Johnson. Yeah, he's staying interested in Ole Miss so he can take an official. But he is literally he one commit that I cannot see signing elsewhere for any reason. He LOVES Gus and his offense and growing up an AU fan, wanted to commit to Gus 2 summers ago. When Gus left, he had to rethink it, but still committed. Now that Gus is back, he's ecstatic and 100% solid
Yeah.. and I shouldn't have turned on this game.. Now I am nervous about keep him...

We are going to have one nasty defense in a couple of years.

Did he say that he, Carl, and Dee were future teammates?
"will be future…I mean maybe future teammates"
"whenever someone says 'there go an Auburn commit' I'm like 'War Eagle'"
"great staff that I will be…I mean, in the future might be a part of"

Ya I noticed he said will be and corrected it. The interview just proves that what Bo and Tray said was just bullcrap.

Army game announcers are making it seem like JJ isn't even committed to us. They keep making it seem like it's neck and neck between us and OM, which I don't think is true.

Damn, Derrick Greene looks really good. I think he's leaning to Michigan, but I would love if this new staff could change his mind.

That sounds extremely positive for us. Did they say he was MVP of the white team at the beginning of the video?

Johnson has some serious arm strength

He threw the game winning touchdown pass but it was a last ditch toss up to an open receiver. He looked solid but I don't see him being SEC ready next year. I hope we redshirt him and let him learn the offense before throwing him in the deep end of the pool.

It would probably be best for him to redshirt, though. I just wonder where that would put him on the depth chart going forward. Would he be able to beat out a 2 year starter in Jonathan Wallace after he redshirted a year? I don't want him on the bench a very long time. He's too much of a freak.

If Wallace or even Frazier takes the reigns next year with some authority and Johnson is able to redshirt, worst case is that he is in line as a redshirt sophomore if Frazier takes over or a redshirt junior if Wallace is the man. I am fine with this and this is really what Auburn needs. Upper classmen leading the team that are ready to lead the team.

I don't know wtf you are talking about Wayfarer, Wallace be going pro after Junior year. Book it bitchez

I don't know about that, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Wallace takes a big step in his development this offseason... he was forced into a terrible situation as a true frosh and played decent. You gotta remember he's only been on campus six months... this will be his first time in a serious weight program and spring practice. He's got the athleticism, work ethic, and leadership skills.... he's just gotta improve on his accuracy.
This offense should be able to fit Wallace's skill set.

I was on the JWall bandwagon about a week after Brannigan. I think he is going to be the real deal for us. He has a lot to work on to be successful in the SEC more than just accuracy
Kid needs to work on arm strength, accuracy and decision making (advanced for FR but not for SEC)
I was only joking about NFL

Im on the JJ bandwagon now. I saw him throw it 55 yards...thats what I was looking for, a cannon.
Not sure why all the OM love...Marty Smith needs to stick to NASCAR.

Oh and does anyone really think Derrick Henry ever plays rb at Bama?
6'3" 245...thats a perfect LB for Saban

The gumps swear he's playing RB. We all know the process.

FWIW austudnt23 from AUF, whom some of you respect, says Carl and Reuben will end up at Auburn. Also Said Tray and Bo were trolling. Still awaiting word from him on Dee Liner

Why not, they'll have 7 on the roster next year. 8 if Lacy doesn't go pro.
