Well, it appears Lavon Hooks is pushing back his signing again. There is now no timetable for his signing. I asked when he'd sign, he said, "can't tell".

I think this is a positive sign for us.

He can't meet with coaches or anyone in the program.

If we wants to walk around an empty campus by himself I guess that is his choice

"“Georgia is my hometown team,” Adams said. “I love the coaches there like Coach Garner and Coach [Mark] Richt. One thing I also like about Georgia is their coaches are not likely to leave. The coaches at Auburn are gone, and coaches have left some of my other schools, but at Georgia they have stability so that means something. "

The schools in contention are Ole Miss, Miami, Mississippi State, Nebraska and Auburn. Hooks told me earlier today that he had made his decision prior to his almost signing.

Auburn continued to work on Hooks throughout the day on Wednesday and the fact Hooks didn't sign is very positive news for Auburn. I think Hooks will sign either Thursday or Friday. I said on Tuesday that I put Auburn's chances at 20%, but after Wednesday I think that percentage has increased significantly.

Nice and summarized

So... fluid.

Also, I find it strange that Hooks' last official visit was to Washington just this past weekend, and now it doesn't even appear UDub made his list of finalists.

I hope like heck we land this kid, but... smh. Maybe he had been here enough times and just wanted to take a free trip to Washington -- hey, why not? -- but this situation is crazy.

UGA is going to reap the benefits of our coaching change over this year (Foster,Adams, etc).

I think we need to load up on JUCO's this year to fill spots and start to build relationships for next years class at this point.

Adams, maybe. I still think Foster signs with AU.
