Bower gets overlooked a lot. Lawson is a beast right now but Bower could be a jewel in a year. Big kid and quick.

Ive never been to high on Bowers. He is athletic. But I have always seen him as the boom/bust type. And with the player development abilities of the old staff, I though Bowers would bust.

Him under Johnson could be a different story, I hope we hold onto Bowers now. We need major help along the DL.

A Washington fan in this thread is saying he's visiting Washington this weekend, so unless he's there right now, that's gonna be one hell of a Saturday/Sunday trip.

Lemnd Johnson faces a decision: enroll early at Tennessee or wait and enroll at Auburn in June. A decision will likely be made by Monday. Auburn did tell Lemond he couldn't enroll early, my guess is they want those spots for JUCO players, but no definitive reason was given to Lemond

As bad as it sounds, I would tell Gus to go frick himself on this one. This kid hasn't wavered and is a solid, and only, prospect at safety. We only had about 82 on scholarship last year and have 2 leaving the team with 12 graduating, we should have room for the kid to enroll in January and honor the commitment he made.

Gus must have a silent verbal from all of our JUCO targets. At least I hope that's the case, or this move is beyond dumb.

And that doesn't take into account the sure attrition a coaching change always brings.

Melton looked really good from the bit of the game I saw, him and Cook would be great to have as corners.

Melton with a great INT, his second forced TO this game. I've really liked what I've seen from him and Jason Smith. Cook was also impressive, hope we offer him soon

Nick Montana (JUCO) will get an offer this week most likely. Yes he is Joe Montana's kid.
