He is the Jordan Moore of this year. He is a stud

We need Gus to look at Derunnya Wilson too and I will be satisfied with the recruiting of underrated players

Would love him. Is it between AU and UT?

I was big on this guy when I still had the heart to follow recruiting. Last I heard he was hoping for a Bama offer. Do we have a chance at all? Think him and Earnest Robinson would be unstoppable

He probably isn't getting one so it doesn't matter. If we offer I bet he comes to AU

Nobody. One could assume it was being implied when the poster you quoted said "These are the first 4 he should've visited" (talking about Liner, Lawson, Foster, Johnson).
Don't assume.

Are you trying to imply that Malzahn doesn't have plans to visit them? Please don't go that route.
Once again, don't assume. Nowhere is a previous post did I even hint at Malzahn not having plans to visit them.

There was no chance you were ever going to see Yeldon and Kouandijo playing for AU (even if they were "committed")
I disagree. They wouldn't have committed if there wasn't a chance. Things change, shite happens, coaches leave, and kids do 360s in their thought process. Doesn't mean there wasn't a chance.

Yeah we've lost a lot of players but that is far from where the problem is, in my opinion.
Of course, I don't think anyone thinks that's the problem. But, then again, like I said, when you lose players of that caliber, it takes a heavy toll on the overall talent of the team. Kouandjio and Yeldon will be 1st round picks in a couple of years. Those are game changing type players that got away from Auburn. And it'll suck to see Reuben Foster, Dee Liner, and Carl Lawson also leave.

That's recruiting, though.

If they were doing 360's we wouldn't be having this discussions! Lol

I knew there was a reason I haven't made anything higher than a B in math since last year of middle school.

The 'ole Eddie Lacy 360 spin.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but Malzahn has visited Lawson according to 247. His dad was impressed with Malzahn. They don't have any quotes from Lawson himself.

His dad also mentioned that Carl was loyally committed until the coaching shake up and that they were going to sit down and decide on visits and that he would take them all. I would guess that a good DL coach would lock him back up for Auburn, the Lawson's seem like a very reasonable family that are doing the best for their kid.

It'd be great to keep him committed. If he'd watch film on recent USCE player like Ingram and Clowney, he'd fall in love with the idea of playing for Ellis Johnson.

I get that they get to love the coaches that are recruiting them and they are a big reason why they commit to a place. But you would think that any recruit with any love for Auburn would be ecstatic that there is a possibility of Auburn having a good defense now that the coaching staff is gone. Defensive recruits had no chance of being drafted under the old regime, I would argue that Lemonier might have had a better draft status without going to college than he does right now. They managed to turn some highly rated DTs into mush and did nothing with a few quality, serviceable linebackers.

The key for the D-line may be getting Rocker back to Auburn.. all indications is that is a strong possibility, but must wait until the NFL season is over.

Rocker would be a HUGE hire in terms of holding on to our recruits and developing them once they get here. The D-line has to step up for this new scheme to work. The NFL season ends on the 30th so we will just have to be patient and see if he is willing to come back.

Plans to sign on Dec. 19th an report on Jan. 9th. He said Gus convinced him his offense isn't really a spread even though they run hurry-up. Was impressed Gus had 9 1000yd. rushers in 7 years.

Thats a good thing because Greg Bryant committed to the Irish. Hopefully we can hang on to Derrick Green.
