So rumblings are that Trey Johnson is on the verge of decommitting or has already decommitted. Ohio St. believed to be the leader now.

Dang you Urban Meyer

I stopped expecting him to sign with us the minute that press conference was called at Auburn High School.

Oh well. We've got to hold on to Foster though.

Petrino hire = more interest from Christian hackenburg?? Kid would be dumb not to IMO bobby could turn him into a star in his offense.

I stopped caring if he signed with us when that press conference was called. Cameron Toney and Jarrad Davis are completely underrated and with Foster that gives us 3. Also, there are some diamonds in the rough that didn't go to camps this summer around AL that are going to be studs

If we hired Petrino, Johnson would be a dumbass to go elsewhere.

I'd be very pleased if we went after Zach Cunningham from Pinson Valley (same school as Earnest Robinson). He just now started developing and has very impressive film and a great frame to build into. Recently got rated a 4 star by 247 and Scout after senior season evaluation.

Jeremy Johnson said he's not thinking about recruiting until his season is done. I guess that's better than I'm decommitting if Chiz is fired which was his previous stance.

He'll be done on Friday

Actually, probably not.

It is safe to say we all saw that coming. I would not be surprised if he did re-commit to Auburn if Bobby Petrino was appointed Head Coach and Brian Van Gorder was retained.

These kids should just take a wait/see approach to all of this.

Jeremy Johnson under BP's tutelage is really fun to think about.

Lets hire a new coach by the time he's out of the playoffs.

I really underestimated his commitment to the coaching staff and not Auburn. Hope the kid enjoys playing at OM or UT. He just received his OM offer today.

It is sad that some recruits would rather play for a coach that has drug down many 4 and 5 star players to the level of 2 and 3 stars than play for Auburn with a possible good coach. I would rather lose all our commits than have Chizik around for another year.
