On the plus side, no one has been arrested in 2 weeks :progress:
What's the consensus on Tunde's playing time? First series then he's out, or do we think he could be on the field for significant snaps?

I think Tunde makes it about 2-3 drives (or a quarter) before he sits. If he's playing well though, he'll stay in.

I really like Tunde, and I think he did better than most of us expected (especially in pass protection). But Dismukes (based on last year) opens up better running lanes up the middle. I say Tunde is one and done.
On the subject of our running game, I'm going to be pissed if we keep running OMac up the middle. I don't care what combo of Dismukes/Lutz/Prosch he has in front of him, the boy wasn't made to run between the tackles.
ETA: Has anyone heard how Prosch has been this week? I'm sure he has been mentally preparing himself for that for a while now, but it still has to be pretty devastating. I hope he took enough personal time off

His shotgun snaps left something to be desired, but it's not like they were all over the place and going over the QB's head. Some were high, some were low, but they all seemed to stay center.

I think OMac can do some damage up the middle, but it would rely on us creating a very large hole for him to run through. If he found a good hole, and hit it at full speed, he'd be in the secondary before the defense blinked.

I don't know, but if I had to imagine, from my experiences of friends going through this, that he was prepared and at peace for it. I'm sure the service was/will be tough on him, but at the same time, he was able to have his final moments with his mother, and able to mentally prepare himself for this.
Does this mean I think he'll play lights out on Saturday? No. I'd completely understand if he played the worst game of his life on Saturday. There are obviously more important things going on for him than football. But, I do think that he will come prepared to contribute and play a factor in the outcome of the game on Saturday.

He had more success than I thought he would going up the middle, but we need to remember that wasn't an SEC DL he was going up against. He's going to get hurt if we use him week in week out going up the gut in SEC play. We need him healthy because he's one of our few proven homerun threats.

MSU Report, are we going against them for any Recruits?
LINK
Roster Report
• TE Malcolm Johnson (pectoral injury), a starter, is out for the second straight game; Backup OL Templeton Hardy (ankle) is questionable.
• MSU indefinitely suspended DT P.J. Jones, DB Jamerson Love and WR Ricco Sanders before its opener last week. Their status for Saturday is not known, but defensive coordinator Chris Wilson hinted this week that Jones will not play.
• OG Tobias Smith played only one series in MSU’s opener, but is “114 percent” and could play 30 or more snaps against the Tigers. Smith tore an ACL in the third week of the 2011 season, and coaches are slowly putting him back on the field.

Any big games tonight for our recruits?

Don't know about tonight, but apparently RF tore it up last night. Not sure about the exact stats.

He had his usual night of high school kids running for their life.
He played running back last night as well. On one play he dropped the exchange from Luper but picked it up and rambled 28 yds. for a TD.
