Trust me, I know. Probably has more to due with me not waking up until 11. Not a good way to start the day. Wasn't expecting to beat Xavier, but wanted to see them play with some smarts and maybe keep it close. This crushes my hopes for a decent ceiling for the season. They looked lost.

Really our first true road game though. I thought this may happen with a lot of our guys playing their first game in this type of environment. Couldn't get a call either.

Could have been chanting it at Pearl. Either way, their bench crew is better than our starters. They're a freaking juggernaut this year.

I hope Canty is okay.
I'm a little disappointed in our team. We've yet to put together a solid game against a decent team. Our shooting was awful today. Canty was hitting threes, but BB needs to hit some as well.
Why is it that we can't open up any shots besides 3's. It seems we only score inside or 3 pointers. I'd like to see more fluidity on offensive possessions.

From what I remember, that's the way Tennessee was under Pearl. They shot a ton of 3's, but we just don't have the talent and depth to score at will in the paint yet. #freepurifoy

It looks like we're slowly figuring out ways to make passes to open up close range buckets.
We can't keep relying on Canty to hit a 3 when we need it. We need more guys to contribute. I saw BB and Lang pass up open shots today. Lang needs to contribute more on offense.

This is why we run through so many coaches. Auburn fan expectations are absurd. I think Pearl's goal for this season was .500 basketball and you guys expect a tournament appearance
Pearl didn't start with well constructed team and we still don't have that. We've only got his first season of recruits he fully recruited on the court right now. We'll need a few recruiting cycles to build depth and fill holes.
